As Chris is driving the car somewhere I ask him.
"Where are we going chris?" I ask but he just stays quiet
"Are you ok or something dude?" I ask him looking at him this time
"Yes" he says while nodding his head a bit but still keeping a straight face.
10 minutes later:
"We're here ma'am" I hear.Chris say as he puts the car in park.
Then he gets out of the van and walks over to my side and opens the car door for me and I get out.
"Put this on" he says as he hands me a blindfold and I put it on, then he grabs my arm with his hand and drags me along beside him while I carrying all my stuff, my purse, and my bag of matts presents.
Then chris stops walking so I do too and then he goes behind me and removes my blindfold from behind and im greeted with a red and white checkered sheet laying on the ground and a basket with some paper plates and plastic silverware with some glasses, all next to each other but no sign of matt.
"Wait here ma'lady" chris says coming to my side as I go over to the picnic set up and sit down. Then shortly after I hear someone clear their throat behind me and I turn around to see matt standing there with his arms behind his back, and I see Chris walking back to the van.
"Happy valentines day baby" matt says as he walks over to me and puts his hands out.
"Happy valentines day babe" I say as I take his hands and he pulls me up without backing away so we are right in front of each other, and we both lean in a he places a couple second long kiss on my lips and I do with his, then we both pull away and look each other in the eyes and smile.
Then we back away a bit.
"Join me?" Matt says still holding my hand turning me around leading me to the edge of the sheet.
"Yes" I say smiling while sitting down and him sitting down next to me.
"What food we got?" I say reaching for the basket.
"Wait! No!" Matt says grabbing my arms and pulling them towards him
"What?" I say
"Your gift is in there" he says
"Then where the food?" I ask him
"Oh shit" matt says
"You forgot? Didn't you?" I say
"Its in the van" matt says while pulling out his phone and calling chris.
"I need you to come back" matt says and I hear Chris say something but I don't know what it is.
"The food" matt says to Chris
"In the bad seat of the van" matt says
"Alright bye" he says
"He'll be here in like 10 minutes" matt says
"Ok good, cause I didn't have breakfast and im a bit hungry" I tell Matt
"Oh well wanna open each others gifts?" Matt says smirking at me
"Sure!" I say smiling and grabbing the bag next to me
And he grabs the basket
"You go first" matt says while smiling and looking directly at the bag.
"I went basic with this ok" I said getting a bit nervous that he may not like it.
"Thats ok" he says
I pull out the card first and give it to him, and I watch him open it and read i.
"Aww how sweet" matt says and then he pulls me in for a hug and kisses my forehead while doing so.
Then I pull out a box of chocolates.
"Oooooo chocolate!" He says getting excited like a little kid and I just laugh at his expression while he then also joins me in laughing for a bit and then I pull out the flowers that I somehow was able to save them from getting ripped and bent.
Then I pull out the roses and show them to him
"Flowers!" He says while gently grabbing them out of my hands and then stuffing his face in them and smelling them.
Then I pull out the box that the metal bracelet that has my name craved on the inside is in and I hand it too him
"Oooo what's this?" He says looking at the box and then opening it and picking up the bracelet and looking at it.
"Look on the inside" I say and he does
"Aww im gonna wear this everyday" he says hugging it and then putting it on
"I love you" he says
"I love you too" I say back to him
"Your turn!!" Matts says happily while grabbing the basket.
But then before he can even open it then van pulls up and Chris steps out while he is still in the suit and sunglasses and he walks to the back of the van and opens it and brings out another basket and brings it over to us and sets it down in front of us.
"Here you go sir and ma'am" chris says before walking off back to the van
"Thanks" me and Matt both say in unison
"Your welcome" chris says but still walking to the van and then he get sin the drivers side seat and closes the door and then drives off.
