Defense against the Dark Arts

After our talk, Hermione and I went to our first class of the day. We had Defense against the Dark Arts (DADA) giving by Professor Snape. Snape always favoured the Slytherins, but not me. I know something happened between him and my parents, when they were at school together and he definitely uses that against me and Harry. He would always be in a bad mood with us two, but today something was different. When I walked into the room he said good morning to me. In the last 5 years, Snape has never said good morning to me. So, either he was in a good mood today or he had something up his sleeve.
Hermione and I were the first to arrive at class, but soon followed the rest of the class. Including Harry, Mattheo and Draco. I stood between Mattheo and Draco, when I soon realized that was a mistake. There was a dark cloud above the three of us and I was not in the mood for that tension. So, I walked over to Hermione and Harry, who were both happy to talk to me.
Once everyone was settled down in the class, Snape started telling us what we would be doing that day. 'We're going to duel today. This means that I want two students, both out of different houses, to came up on this walkway and duel with eachother until one of you gets hit with a spell and gives up. However, there's a twist. The person that gets hit and gives up, loses 5 points from his house.' This was different than all the other classes. None of the classes involved losing points for your house if you didn't win a fight or an assignment. I cannot be the one who loses points for Slyherin. I know my friends wouldn't get mad, but all the other Slytherins will hate me. I just have to hope, that I don't have to duel today or that it's someone I don't particularly like, so I can win without feeling too bad about it. Before I could even start to hope that either of those situations would be the case, Snape started talking again: 'Are there any volunteers that want to start dueling? No? Okay, then the first two people will be Mister Potter...' Luckily my brother and not me.  'And Miss Potter', Snape said. Shit! I have to go against my brother?! That was what Snape had on his mind. I started to freak out a little. I can't fight my brother. First of all, he will win and second of all, I don't want to hurt him. Mattheo noticed I started to freak out, because out of nowhere I heard a voice in my head: 'You can do this Y/N. Don't worry okay? Try your best and if you can't do it or lose points for Slytherin that's alright, okay?'  I nodded my head while looking at Mattheo and walked onto the walkway to face Harry. Harry and I bowed to eachother and when we were ready he instantly cast his favorite spell: 'Expelliarmus.' I blocked it, but didn't cast a spell at him. He then performed the stunning spell: 'Stupefy'. I blocked him once again and before I knew it, I had cast a spell at him. I had said 'Petrificus totalis' which made Harry's body freeze and made him fall over. Since he couldn't move anymore, he had to give up and that's why Gryffindor lost 5 points. I walked over to Harry, used 'Episkey' to counter the effects of the Petrificus Totalis spell and said I was sorry, before walking out of the class.
I hate Snape for putting me against my brother. He could've put me against anyone else, but he chose my brother.

The rest of the day, I stayed away from my brother during classes. He told me that I wouldn't have to worry about what happened and that he was't mad, but I just felt guilty. I made him lose points for his house and made him fall over in front of the whole class. I just couldn't look at him.
Luckily we didn't have that many classes today, so before I knew it, I was on my way to Hogsmeade with Hermione. We went into a couple small shops and soon we found a cute outfit. It was a black Skater-style dress with an open back. I was thinking about buying some nice heels to complete the outfit, but I knew I would never be able to walk in them for the complete evening, so I decided to just wear some cute sneakers with the dress.
After we found the dress, we went over to the three broomsticks, where we had some dinner. Just the two of us. No drama with Draco or Mattheo and no guilt for Harry. Just me and Hermione being able to talk about whatever we wanted. 'Are you looking forward to your date with Draco?' She asked me. 'Yeah, I kinda am. At first I wasn't sure, but now I'm looking forward to it.' 'What are you going to do on the date?' 'I have no idea, to be honest. I think we might get some dinner somewhere, because we're meeting at 6. But, other than that, I have no ideas. I'll just let him surprise me.' 'You are going to tell me everything about the date when you get back right?' She asked me. 'Ofcourse Hermione. Who else am I going to gossip with.' We both started laughing and just enjoyed our evening together.

When we were all done talking and eating, we went back to Hogwarts and went into our own commonrooms. When I walked into the Slytherin commonroom, Mattheo was sitting on the couch reading Romeo and Juliet again. 'Back at the muggle literature I see?' I asked him. He looked up at me like he wasn't waiting for me to get back. 'Yeah, I'm starting to really root for them to get together.' 'Okay, then I will definitely not tell you how the story ends.' I laughed while going to sit down next to him. 'What do you mean? Do they not end up together?' I just sat there looking at him and said: 'I'm not going to tell you. You'll find out on your own.' 'No, Y/N tell me! I need to know, what's going to happen to them!' I just signed that I locked my mouth and threw away the key. He started threatening me 'If you don't tell me now, I will read your mind and find out for myself!' 'No, you won't.' I said laughing, knowing that he would never go into my mind without my permission. 'Yeah, I will.' 'Good luck with that Mattheo.' I said while walking towards the fridge to get something to drink. He closed his book and asked me how I was feeling after DADA class today. 'I'm okay. I hate that he put Harry and me against eachother. But, I'm happy Harry wasn't mad at me.' 'Why would he be? He knows, you would never deliberately hurt him. And it took you almost being hit two times, before you even cast a spell back.' 'I know, but I still did cast a spell at him and I made Gryffindor lose 5 points.' 'You didn't. Harry lost those points when he didn't block your Petrificus Totalis. So, don't worry about it, okay?' 'Yeah, okay.'

Mattheo and I sat there talking on the couch for a couple hours, before going to bed just like everyone else had done about two hours before.
