'Mom, where did you put my robes? I need to pack them for tomorrow.' Y/N said. 'They're still in the dryer. They'll be ready in 20 minutes. Just say goodbye to your grandparents and then they'll be done before you know it.' 'Okay, thanks mom'.
'Hey grandma and grandpa, are you leaving already?' Y/N asked after her mom told her to say goodbye. 'Yes, we have a long way to go home and you and Harry need to be up and ready early tomorrow morning to catch your train back to Hogwarts.' Grandma said.
She was right. Tomorrow is our first day of our sixth year at Hogwarts. Another year in Slytherin, while everyone in my family thinks I'm in Gryffindor.
I've been lying to everyone in my family since the start of first year. All the wizards in my family that have gone to Hogwarts, have always been sorted in Gryffindor and when my parents and grandparents heard that my brother Harry had been sorted into Gryffindor, they just assumed I would have been too. I couldn't tell them that I had been sorted into Slytherin instead, because everyone knows my grandparents despise Slytherins after the whole war with Vol.., well you-know-who,. I can't tell them that their 'sweet' little girl is from the same house as Him. They would hate me.

Harry is the only one in the family who knows the truth. It would be impossible to hide from him that I'm not in the same Hogwartshouse as him. Luckily he gets why I'm lying to everyone and he has been helping me by lending me his extra robes when we're back home.

Eventhough my grandparents would hate me, I don't think my parents would, well my mom wouldn't hate me. I don't know about my dad though, and I'm not ready to find out, what he would think. Luckily we're going back to Hogwarts and I won't see my parents for at least a couple weeks, so I can just be myself again. I love being a Slytherin. Everyone thinks the Slytherins are mean, but I think that just seems so, because they're very protective over eachother. They're like a family, where they will fight anyone or anything that hurts one of them. And I can't wait to see them again.

But, before I can see them again, I have to say goodbye to my grandparents and pack the rest of my bag. 'Hey Honey.' My grandma started. 'Yes?' I said. 'Could you call your brother over here? Your grandfather and I still have something for you both.' 'Oh you shouldn't have. But, I'll go call for him.' I walked towards the stairs and yelled Harry's name. 'What's up Y/N?' Harry said from the top of the stairs. 'Grandma and grandpa are leaving and they want to give us both something.' 'I'm coming.' He said while walking down the stairs.
'Sweethearts, since it's already the start of your sixth year tomorrow, we have a little something for you. It's not much, but we thought you might like it.' My grandma handed both me and Harry a wrapped present. We opened it and got matching Gryffindor sweaters with a Gryffindor lanyard. 'Thank you guys so much.' I said to my grandparents while giving them both a big hug. I love that they thought about us and got us presents. I just can't wear neither of the presents. I can't wear a Gryffindor sweater and lanyard when I'm at school. So, I'll just put the lanyard on my house keys and keep it hidden as long as I'm at school. And the sweater? I think I'm going to hide it in my room here at home. That way my parents think, I've taken it with me and I can wear it when I'm at home. I hate that I can't really use the presents like my grandparents intended, but I can't let my friends at school find out that I hide my Slytherin self the moment I step off the train.

After Harry and I said thanks to our grandparents, my grandparents left to go home. I was quite tired and we needed to get up at 7 in the morning, so I said goodnight to my parents and went to bed.
