Merry Christmas

A/N: small timeskip to Christmas. It's also quite a long chapter, because a lot will happen in this one.

'Babe, hey babe.' I whispered to a half-sleeping Mattheo. 'Yes, love?' 'I'm going out. I'll see you later.' 'Where are you going?' 'It's a surprise. I'll tell you later.' 'Okay, be careful.' 'Always. I love you.' 'Love you too.' And with that I sneaked out of the room.
It was only two days until Christmas and only one day before I left to go back home to my family. I had bought most of my presents during the past week, but I still had one more present to get. I still hadn't bought my present for Mattheo. I knew exactly what it needed to be and I finally found a place that sold the exact present I needed. It was a rare version of Romeo and Juliet; A book with a dark blue cover, with white vines drawn on it. It was beautiful and hard to get, but I did it. I found the book and now I just need to pick it up. So, I was on my way to Hogsmeade, where this small bookshop was located. They told me they had the exact copy of Romeo and Juliet that I needed and I could pick it up from there. 
When I got to the bookshop, I walked in and said hi to the little old man that was working there. 'Good morning Y/N. How are you today?' 'I'm very well sir. How are you?' 'I'm doing alright yound lady. I suppose you're here for your book?' 'Yes, I am. I've been looking everywhere, so I'm really happy that I finally found it.' 'Yes, it is a very rare and special edition, especially in the Wizarding World, so I suppose it should only go to a person as rare and special as the book itself.' 'Yes, I think it should too. That's why I wanted it as a Christmas gift for someone very special to me.' 'And who might that be, young lady?' He asked with a curious look in his eyes. 'My boyfriend. We have been together for a little while now and he makes me the happiest girl in the world, when I'm with him.' 'Sounds like he's the perfect person to give it to then. He's very lucky to have you.' 'Well, I think I'm luckier to have him.' I said with a smile on my face. 'Well here is your book, Y/N. I hope he'll appreciate it and you for how much effort you put into obtaining it.' 'I'm sure he will.' 

Now that I got Mattheo's present, it was time to get back to Hogwarts. I still needed to wrap the book and my other presents and I needed to pack my bag, before I'm leaving tomorrow. I was almost back at the castle, when I bumped into Hermione. 'Hi Y/N, where did you come from?' 'Hi Hermione. I just came from Hogsmeade. I had to pick up my present for Mattheo.' 'Ohhhh, what did you get him??' 'It's this amazing and rare version of Romeo and Juliet. It's the first piece of Muggle literature that Mattheo has read and he hated the ending. But, I told him I would do the same as Romeo and Juliet just to save the person I love most and that is Mattheo. So, I think it would only fit, to give him this edition of the story. Do you think he will like it?' 'I think he will love it Y/N. Not just because it's incredibly romantic, but also because he will get it from you.' 'You really think so?' 'I really do.' 'Okay, thanks Hermione. Well, I got to head back inside, because I still have a lot to do, but I will see you tonight right?' 'Yes, see you tonight!' 

I quickly went inside the warm castle and towards my room. Mattheo was just stepping into the shower, so I had a couple minutes to wrap his gift. I wrapped it as fast as I could and hid it, before he got out of the shower. 'Hey love, you're back.' He said while walking over to me to give me a kiss. 'Hi babe. I missed you.' 'Missed you too.' He gave me a hug, before asking me again where I went. 'Well, as I said this morning, it was a surprise. So, as you know Christmas is in two days and I'll be home instead of with you.' Mattheo started pouting his lips. 'Yes, it's sad I know.' I said while I started giggling a bit. 'As I was saying, I won't be with you for Christmas, but that doesn't mean I didn't get you a gift. So, after a long search I got you this.' I gave him his wrapped gift. 'Love, you know you didn't have to do that.' 'I do though. You have given me so much happiness since we've been together, so it's the least I could do.' He gave me a quick kiss and started opening his gift. 'Is this... Is this what I think it is?' 'A rare and very beautiful edition of Romeo and Juliet? Yes, yes it is.' 'Oh my god, that's amazing Y/N. I love it so much!' 'I hope you'll love it even more, when you open it.' He looked at me puzzled, but immediately opened the book. Right on the first page I had written a small message for him: Roses are red, violets are blue. Just like Juliet, I would do anything for you. I love you, Mattheo Riddle. Mattheo read the little message, looked at me and kissed me once again. 'I love you too, Y/N Potter.' 
Out of nowhere Mattheo walked away to the desk that was in the corner of the room. 'I have a little something for you as well, Y/N.' He walked back with a little box and gave it to me. 'What is it?' I asked. 'Just open it, love.' I open the box and it's this beautiful heart necklace. It was a silver half moon with a galaxy round moon in the middle of it. On the back of the necklace it said: 'I love you forever and always.'  'It's...it's... perfect Mattheo. I absolutely love it.' 'Turn around. I'll put it on for you.' I turned around and hold my hair up while Mattheo put on the necklace and gave me a small kiss on my neck. I turned around and hugged Mattheo. We stood there like that for a couple minutes, until we realised we had to go. We had made plans with a couple friends, to do a small Christmas celebration before we all went home.
