~With Lucius~
Lucius had just left the Greens' home and was making his way toward an Apparition point that was just a block away. However, he came to a stop and decided to disillusion himself before apparating on their roof. Standing atop the roof, he was captivated by the stunning view. It was late at night, and the moon was shining brightly, casting a silver light over the neighboring area. From this height, he could see the whole street laid out before him, with houses aligned neatly like dominoes.
It was quiet, except for the distant hoot of an owl and the occasional rustle of the leaves in the trees below. However, his mind was far from the serene landscape that lay before him. Rather, his thoughts were fully absorbed by the riddle that was Jade.
He noticed her striking resemblance to a young Bellatrix, one of history's most notorious witches. She had the same cascading dark, curly hair, defined features, and captivating eyes. It was as if a Bellatrix had been transported to the present day in the form of a 12-year-old girl. Yet, Lucius was baffled by the lack of a magical presence surrounding her.
Bellatrix was celebrated for her powerful magical skills and her fierce loyalty to the Dark Arts. She radiated power wherever she went, leaving an undeniable imprint of her presence on those around her. However, Jade, despite her striking resemblance, didn't carry that same aura. She appeared just like an ordinary Muggle, lacking any magical lineage that Lucius could discern.
Lucius's thirst for knowledge pushed him to seek answers. What was the connection between Jade and Bellatrix, if one at all? He had to find out. He cast a spell on the Green's house, making the walls and floors transparent to him for an hour.

With a heavy heart, Jade sighed, almost handing over the letter to Mrs. Green. However, as she remembered her discussion with Nagini, the python, a wave of fury surged through her. In a swift motion, she yanked the letter back, her eyes blazing with fury. In a low, dangerous growl, she demanded an explanation: "If you can give me just one sound reason why I shouldn't be allowed to attend this school, I will rip that letter to shreds myself. But really, why?" She crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes piercing into Mrs. Green's soul, daring her to speak.
"You can't be sent to that school with those weird children!" Mrs. Green exclaimed, her eyes wide with panic.
Lucius scowled at the Muggle woman's logic. It was clear she had no idea of the true nature of the school she was trying to keep Jade from attending. "If Jade is truly a witch, I will personally see to it that she goes to that school." He thought to himself, after hearing how Mrs. Green dismissed the opportunity.
He had to admit, the girl had a fiery spirit that reminded him of his ex-wife's sister, Bellatrix. He found himself feeling a strange protectiveness, though he couldn't quite grasp why.
"Who exactly gets to decide that they're all weird? And even if they are, who's to say I would behave like ANY of them if I had the right guidance from my 'parents'?" Jade retorted, the word 'parents' dripping with sarcasm. Her voice was calm, but the tension in the room was palpable.
Lucius smirked, reminiscing about how Draco had voiced a similar argument when he discussed the possibility of attending a different school. He chuckled at Jade's dramatic air quotes when she referred to "parents." He knew all too well the kind of guidance she was missing, and the idea of her receiving that guidance from the likes of the muggles she lived with was preposterous.
Mr. and Mrs. Green gazed at each other, a moment of silent understanding enveloping them. It was a look laden with unspoken truths that neither wanted to voice aloud.
