Don't Think, Just Run

If you were standing outside the Great Hall, you would have been convinced that an explosion had just occurred. The noise that erupted from the Gryffindor table was so thunderous that it could have shaken the very foundations of Hogwarts. Neville, pale with astonishment, vanished beneath a heap of jubilant embraces as Harry, Ron, and Hermione leaped to their feet, shouting and cheering. It was a moment of triumph for Neville, who had never earned a single point for Gryffindor until now.

As the Slytherin table sat in disappointment, a collective groan filled the air. Draco couldn't help but voice his frustration, speaking in hushed tones that only Jade and Daphne could hear. "I can't believe he didn't reward us with any points for our assistance," he grumbled. Jade let out a sigh, her shoulders slumping in resignation.

Dumbledore's voice cut through the jubilation. Even the usually reserved Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff houses joined in the celebration of Slytherin's defeat. "It seems," Dumbledore announced, his words resonating with authority, "that a change in decor is in order."

Jade grumbled, "I believe he only did that because he is a Gryffindor himself."

With a single clap of his hands, Dumbledore worked his magic. In the blink of an eye, the emerald flags transformed into a vibrant shade of crimson, and the silver borders now shimmered in brilliant gold. The magnificent Slytherin serpent vanished into thin air, making way for a majestic Gryffindor lion to take its rightful place.

Snape shook Professor McGonagall's hand, with a forced smile. As his gaze shifted towards Harry, Jade could sense a sudden intensification of his negative sentiments towards the boy. This realization brought a mischievous smile to Jade's face. She had momentarily forgotten about the impending exam results, but they had finally arrived. To her astonishment, not only did Harry, Draco, Daphne, and Ron pass with flying colors, but Hermione, unsurprisingly, secured the top grades among the first-year students, sharing the spot with Jade herself.

Despite his abysmal Potions grade, Longbottom managed to scrape through, thanks to his excellent Herbology marks. Goyle, on the other hand, also passed, but Jade couldn't help but wonder if his focus on playing pranks on other houses had affected his performance.

Before they were to leave for the summer, Dumbledore led the students toward the pitch, which had been prepared earlier that day by Draco and Daphne at Jade's request. Dumbledore made a surprising revelation, declaring that she had meticulously orchestrated this event as a farewell until the following year.

Jade deftly switched her wand from her right hand to her left, aiming it directly at her own throat. With a newfound spell she had recently mastered, she chanted the incantation, causing her wand to emit a vibrant green glow. The purpose of this enchantment was to amplify her voice, ensuring that her words resonated clearly through the strategically positioned speakers scattered among the crowd.

As the radiant glow of Jades' wand dimmed, she gracefully returned it to her pocket and addressed the assembled crowd, "Greetings, everyone! I hope the past year has been filled with countless moments of bliss for each one of you. Today, I have a delightful surprise in store—a song that has sprung forth from my imagination in the last four days, inspired by a series of extraordinary occurrences that have unfolded in my life and touched the lives of a select few. I sincerely hope this musical creation brings you immense pleasure and sets the stage for a marvelous summer ahead!" Her cheerful disposition illuminated the atmosphere as she smiled, casting a spell that transformed ordinary objects into a symphony of instruments, each playing melodically on its own.

As she hopped onto one of the brooms on the pitch, she exclaimed, "I call it: Don't Think, Just Run." However, Madam Hooch shouted for her to get off the broom since she'd taken no flying lessons outside of the first one with Harry and Draco.
