Raindrops fell from the cloudy sky, soaking the ground and making satisfying dripping sounds off of nearby trees and bushes into small puddles of clear water.

The rain slowly began soaking his grave, turning the cement a darker pigment. You stood towering over the headstone, looking down at your husband's grave with a flash of nostalgia dancing through your eyes. A chuckle escaped your lips as you recalled a memory when Toshinori finally told you his secret.

"Oh Toshi, you had no need to be so nervous that day...by then you should have known that I'd love you no matter what form you took..." You gently smiled and set a hand on the picture on the gravestone, "No matter what, you will always have my heart, even in death." An emotionless tear fell down your stoic face, masked by the rain that drenched your hair.

It was only then that a somewhat short figure approached you. You didn't move, there was a calmness in the air, showing that it meant no harm. The figure stood next to you and looked at the same grave, you glanced over and saw it was a boy with fluffy green hair, an All Might themed umbrella covered his eyes and most of his face. Not enough to conceal his emotional scars.

The boy chuckled and asked, "So how've you been Mrs. Yagi?" You looked back down to the picture of your beloved, it was a recent picture, so he looked skeletal.

Oh what you would give to be held in his thin arms once more.

You nodded and said, "I've been moving along." The boy glanced over at you and said, "I-I'm sorry for your loss...he was my mentor so I'm hurt, but I can't imagine how badly you're hurting..." Before you could answer you felt a shift in the aura around the boy, he was sad, but also happy and relieved.

"He was...my everything. One in a million I'd say, he had a spirit like no other. And his resolve and dedication were sharpened to his core." You said as more tears fell down, becoming more clear through the droplets of rain. The boy shrugged and said, "Yeah, he really was amazing..." You sighed heavily and asked, "Is that why you're here Midoriya, to bring me at ease?"

Midoriya chuckled and shrugged his shoulders as he said, "I was honestly just passing by when I saw you."

You turned to the young hero and saw his eyes were glowing as he looked up to the cloudy sky. Midoriya smiled and turned to look at you, half expecting you to laugh at his outfit. Your eyes widened, but quickly replaced the shocked look with a sad, knowing smile.

Midoriya chuckled and asked, "Do you like it? It's one of a kind." You sniffled from all the tears that continued to fall from your eyes, Midoriya is such a cute kid, and honestly an amazing student.

He was wearing a blue t-shirt that had a picture of Toshinori making a heart shape with his hands. Above the picture were big words in sparkly gold that read 'I will always be here'.

The young hero teared up and held out a cloth with the same blue as his shirt and said, "H-Here I made one for you too..." Your eyes widened as you took the blue cloth and unfolded it to see the same design as Midoriya's, the only difference was there were small handwritten letters on the bottom written in sparkly red fabric paint.

I'll always be with you, I love you Y/n. My beloved wife ❤️

You looked at Midoriya with wide eyes, but he quickly explained that he and Toshinori made these a few weeks before his passing.

A waterfall of tears erupted from your eyes as you came forward and pulled Midoriya into a hug, he cried too as he hugged back.

"T-Technically I can speak with him, through One for All..! S-So if you ever w-w-want t-to give him a message... please j-just ask and I w-will!"

You fell to your knees with Midoriya as you continued to hug and cry, causing your legs to get soaked in the puddle of water below you.

"Thank you Midoriya, you really are so amazing. I'm glad Toshi chose you to be his successor. I promise to guide you in his stead..."
