    "There are a few differences between you and this Spider-Man," Uatu replied. "Like, for instance, this version of you prefers to hide in the shadows and attack when your enemies least expect it. He lives in the 1930's. And yes, this version of you is willing to kill."
    "What," Peter asked, already hating this version of himself.
    "This universe, a lot went wrong with it," Uatu said. "As I said earlier, you live in the 1930's and you saw the corruption. In the event we are viewing, the corruption in it is even worse than in your universe. Now, we must continue."
