Planing and the Meeting

Wong looked around the room. And he saw that everyone believed him. Even the spies, the god of mischief and lies and even Stephen. But he had lied. He had not seen a single timeline that they won. But he had a plan.

"You said the fight has to take place on Xandar," Gamora said. "We could talk to Nova Prime. We stopped Ronan the Accuser from destroying the planet once. She'll be more likely to listen to us over anyone else."

"Okay," Steve replied.

"I am going to travel to Nidavellir," Thor proclaimed. "With Mjolnir destroyed, I'll need a new hammer."

"We'll need someone to go with you," Steve said. "Just in case."

"I'll do it. He is my brother after all."

"Then who will lead us to Xandar? Our people need a king, now more than ever," Valkyrie said.

"You can," Thor simply said. "Heimdall is a great leader, but he would never want to lead our people, even for a short while."

"Very well." It was clear Valkyrie didn't like it but she didn't say anything.

"Peter, you still think you can get the other street-level heroes to help us," Steve asked.

"I won't promise that they will join us, but I believe they will."

"Good."

"We already have two stones accounted for. The Time and Mind Stone-"

"Make that three," Loki spoke up. "I have the Tesseract which contains the Space Stone."

Thor groaned but didn't comment.

"Very well." Steve wasn't sure how he felt about that, but Loki had gained some respect. If he was willing to fight alongside them and truly wanted redemption, he would trust him. "We also need the Reality Stone. The Power Stone is already on Xandar. We already decided that the Soul Stone has to remain where it is."

"Yes," Wong said.

"I can get the Reality Stone. I'm already near Knowhere."

"How do you know that it's on Knowhere," Gamora asked.

"The Collector likes to brag."

"We also need to get Vision to Wakanda," Wanda spoke up. "To get the Stone removed."

"I'll be ready when you get to Wakanda," Shuri told her. "The Stone will be removed."

"Before we create a set plan, Uatu, when will we be sent back," Steve asked.

"You will be sent back into your bodies' two weeks before Thanos' first attack," Uatu told them.

"Okay, does anyone have any other allies they can ask for help," Steve asked.

"I can call in the Ravagers. We don't have the best relationship, but they won't want half the population wiped out. I can promise one, maybe two ships but not any others," Quill said. "It won't be a lot of people, though."

"Any amount of help is good," Steve replied. "Anything else?"

Nobody said anything.

"Okay. Now how are we getting to Xandar," Steve asked. "We'll be having to transport a lot of people quickly so Thanos doesn't get word."

"Stephen and I can handle the transportation. We can use our portals to get everyone to Xandar."

No one spoke for a moment. "Can anyone think of anything else?"

Again, everyone remained silent.

"So, it's time. Everyone knows-" Steve was cut off by a blinding flash.

A figure they had seen before, but only from an event.  Before them, stood The One Above All.

"I know you all have questions," TOAA said. "Let's start with the obvious one: why did I do this? Well, simply, I wanted everyone to have a second chance. Multiple people die in the original timeline and that... saddened me. Why don't I just make it to where you guys won and instantly reset the timeline to guarantee it? Because Thanos deserves his shot. He may be vile but he is one of my children just as all of you are."

"Why not just make it to where evil never existed," Tony interrupted.

"Have you ever seen the Yin and Yang symbol? It holds more truth than you might think."

"Why are Wong, America, Stephen, MJ, Ned and I from after Thanos' attack. Everyone else is from right before," Peter asked.

"Because, Peter, I wanted someone to see the after effects of Thanos and what he did. So I choose heroes on opposite ends of the extremes. Stephen, Wong and now America handle threats that would melt the minds of most in this room. You are the opposite. One of the few heroes who actively helps out everyone. Yes, the others do too, but you, Peter, go out of your way to help them. As for only taking you and not any other street heroes, you are the only one to fight alongside the Avengers."

Once again, silence filled the room.

"I will be watching to see how you all do, but I will not interfere again."

"Don't you know who wins," Steve asked.

"I do. But I will not say who. I must leave now, as must all of you. I will send you into your bodies' two weeks before Thanos begins his attack. Good luck and goodbye."

There was a flash of gold and everyone disappeared.

An) Finished. Sorry for not posting this last week. I just couldn't think of a way to write the TOAA. So, this is it. The next book I publish, will be them fighting Thanos. I haven't started it yet, but I'll try to have the first chapter up next week.
