I don't own this. This belongs to their respective owners. I make no money off of this.

Suddenly, Uatu appeared. "We must move on. It is time to finish."

"Where were you," Fury demanded instantly.

"I was talking to The One Above All. It is official, that was the last event you all will be watching," Uatu answered.

"So what now," Rocket asked. "Do we go back and kill Thanos and his army?"

"Almost, yes. First it would be more prudent to form a plan. And perhaps vote for a leader,"

There was a moment of silence before Tony spoke up. "I have a suggestion for the leader: Steve."

"Me? But I lied. I hid the fact that Bucky-"

"And I've forgiven you. Steve, you led the Avengers when we first formed until we disbanded."

"Stark is right," T'Challa said. "I was wrong about my initial assumption about you. I have learned one thing from the Civil War: I learned that if you fight on Captain America's side... You can rest easy knowing you are on the right side."

"Plus, you were never on Tony's side. You were against Bucky who was working for Steve," Shuri added.

"You have a voice that could command a god. And it shall continue to command this god," Thor said. "I and the remaining Asgardians will follow your command."

"What about the Guardians, Carol and the Sorcerers," Steve said. "They should have a say."

"I'm more of a solo act," Carol shrugged. "If everyone else thinks you're our best leader, then I'll accept your lead."

The Guardians looked up at the mention of their name.

Quill spoke up as he said: "We decided to let you lead. None of us are fully qualified to lead an army outside of Nebula and Gamora and they both think you would be a better leader."

"I am the Sorcerer Supreme, but I shall follow your commands," Wong said. "But I would like to make a suggestion. We possess the Time Stone. We can use it to view potential futures. It can be used to make the best plan with minimal casualties."

"Do you have it with you," Tony asked.

"Unfortunately, it is destroyed in our timeline," Wong answered. "But if Uatu would allow..."

"Very well." Suddenly, the Eye of Agamotto, which still hung around Stephen's neck felt... not necessarily heavier, but more... full. More powerful. Finally filled with the Time Stone that it had protected for countless centuries once again.

Stephen opened it and prepared to use the Time Stone but stopped. "Having performance issues," Tony asked.

Stephen closed the Eye and took it off his neck and handed it to Wong. "You are the Sorcerer Supreme, it is your duty."

Wong wordlessly took the Eye of Agamotto and put it around his neck. He activated the Time Stone and began to hover in the air, his head jerking around randomly.

Several people made noises of alarm. "Is that supposed to happen," America asked.

"Yes," Stephen answered.

"So how long will that last," Steve asked.

"It depends on how many timelines he views. He may only view a few hundred, he may view millions or even trillions,"

"So, we wait," Tony said. "Anyone up for a game of Never Have I Ever?"

Everyone broke off into various conversations. Steve walked over to Peter, Ned and MJ.

"I noticed none of you said anything about me being made leader."

"Sorry. Just reality setting in for me," Peter said. "But they're right. I only met you a few times, one of those times we were fighting, but I know you are perfect for the job."

"And you two," Steve asked.

"Well, Sir, our opinions don't really matter," Ned replied. "We aren't exactly heroes."

"I value both of your opinions the same as I do everyone else's," Steve told him.

Ned looked like he might faint. "Well, yeah. If Peter thinks you are good, so do I."

"Same as Ned. What we saw of you and what Peter said about you, yeah, I think you are the best person for the job."

"Very well. I'll leave you three alone now."

As Steve sat back down at his seat, Wong fell and gained consciousness.

Stephen helped his friend up. "Are you okay?"

"Yes. I just watched 26,042,019 futures."

"And how many do we win," Steve asked.

"2,742,018."

"That's not a lot," Steve said. Don't show your fear. You're their leader now. You show fear, they lose morale. "But we can still win. What do you suggest?"

"We must gather the Stones. All but the Soul Stone must be present. And the Mind Stone, in our timeline, you took Vision to Wakanda to get it removed. It must be removed if we are to win and have Vision survive."

"Anything else," Gamora asked. "We need to know everything."

"You and Nebula must not face Thanos. If you do... it won't end well."

Nebula growled. "I want to be the one to kill him."

"I know, but every time you try, you fail," Wong told her. "And so do we all."

"As for the battle itself, it must be fought on Xandar."

"Why," Gamora asked.

"Because I am choosing the path that leads to the least death. And Xandar is the best battle ground. Don't worry, it will be evacuated."

"Very well. Anything else,"Steve asked.

Wong shook his head. "I can't say anymore."

"Very well. Let's get to planning."

Wong looked around the room. And he saw that everyone believed him. Even the spies, the god of mischief and lies and even Stephen. But he had lied. He had not seen a single timeline that they won. But he had a plan.

An) Done. I'm thinking that there might be one more chapter in this until I start the squeal.
