"Not wanting to sign the Registration automatically makes them threats to National Security," Tony asked. "The Sokovia Accords were never this bad."
"And they get sent to some prison," Steve said. "It is the Red Scare all over again." When Steve had gotten thawed out, he decided to learn what had happened during time frozen. The Second Red Scare, the Interment Camps and other things... it was awful.
He was glad that the Captain America was fighting against the Registration. People often forgot the point of being Captain America. He never stood for America. He stood for what America was supposed to stand for. A better place. Always improving. And above all, the right thing.
"What is the Red Scare," Wanda asked.
"It is a time in US history where people thought that Communism was on the rise in the US. Everyone was thought to be spies," Steve told her. "Few people know that there were two. I was too young to remember much from the first one and was frozen for the second, but the things that the government did were unconstitutional."
