*Payton's POV*

"Guys..." I attempted to catch my breath as I clutched my heart which was covered by my 5 Seconds of Summer T-shirt, "That's was Michael Clifford..."
Rachel nodded, "Yeah! That was pretty cool, eh?"
Mary picked up her large bag of luggage, her mother must have made her being every single ounce of safety equipment available to mankind, and began to waddle towards our hotel room.
Once we reached the door with the correct number inscribed into the name plate next to it, we shoved the key into the tiny slot and shoved our way into the spacious brown carpeted room which smelled of fresh laundry cleaner. Immediately, Rachel threw her bags into a corner of the square space and leapt onto one of the light fluffy white beds cleaned just for us.
"Oh, yeah... This is nice!" She stretched out and buried her face into the pillows, "I call this one!"
I said, "Wow... Way to be patient, Arlington!"
That was my nickname for her ever since we were kids. Were did it come from? I honestly have no idea...
"Well," She spat back at me, "I'm tired and excited, give me a break!"
Before I could speak, I was cut off by a male voice screaming from the hallway on the other side of the door.
"What the..." Mary jumped off of her feet and swung the door open as quick as she could.
"Is everyone okay?" She yelled.
A tall man with sleeves of beautiful artwork tattooed onto both his arms appeared into my vision and gave a weak smile to Mary as he apologized, "I am so sorry, Ma'am! My friend, Alan, over there just found out that a cat cafe is being built in our hometown... I am sorry that we disrupted you!"
Mary was speechless as she looked up towards the man, who I recognized as Austin Carlile.
"I... Um..." She stuttered and attempted to get her sentence out, "It's totally fine! Alan was just excited!"
Austin laughed, "If you call crouching over in a lake of tears and screeching excited, then I guess."
I looked over to Rachel and saw her eyes widened and filled with tears.
"Rachel, go say hi!" I shoved her from her spot on the bed and lead her to the doorway.
"Austiiiiiinnnnn! Loooooook at this kitty!" A little ginger, who goes by the name Alan Ashby, ran down the hallway flailing his scrawny arms carrying his phone in the air, "It's got blue eyes!"
Austin glanced from Alan to Rachel, then back to his friend, "Awww! So cute!" He cooed once Alan shoved his phone in Austin's face.
"Wait. Who's this?" Alan scratched his orange hair and looked towards the three of us, "Austin! You found us girlfriends!"
"Ha ha!" I sarcastically laughed at the energetic man, "Very funny... Rachel here couldn't get a boyfriend if she wanted one..."
Austin let out a cute little snort as he covered his mouth with his tattooed hands, "That's so mean!" He tried to hold in his laughter.
Rachel looked at her cat Vans, completely embarrassed, "Thanks, Payton!"
"Awww," Austin wrapped his arms around Rachel's shoulders, "you can do anything! Don't give up..."
Wow, he is such a wise human being.
"Hey, Austin! We should probably head out... Tino is waiting for us downstairs..." Alan suddenly fell from his grinning state.
"Oh! Right!" Austin waved to us as he began to leave with Alan, "See you guys at Warped?"
Rachel nodded her blushing head, "Of course!"
"Great!"
They both disappeared into the elevator and began to move to their destination.
Something doesn't seem right here...
