*Rachel's POV*

"So, Ditto is your favorite Pokemon?" Denis smiled at me as the little purple blob squirmed around on the grass near us.
"Yep!" I nodded, "Well, or Mew but he's kind of a legendary Pokemon so that doesn't count."
He laughed and looked down at his feet that were pointed directly towards me on the ground, "Sure it does!"
The blue sky began to fade into an ombre array of navy and the light of the oncoming moon.
I yawned, unable to keep my drowsiness inside.
"It's getting late..." I quietly spoke.
Denis nodded, his strands of hair following his head, "Yeah, we should find somewhere to rest... I bet we have a big day tomorrow... Besides, everyone else already went to find shelter so we should probably head out."
I nodded in agreement.
He's really a great guy... I mean, I knew he was attractive before but wow...
He quickly stood up, offering his hand to me to help me to my feet. With butterflies exploding in my stomach, I accepted his offer and held onto his forearm while he lifted me towards the dark moon. Unexpectedly, he placed his hands underneath my ribs as if to pull me into a tight embrace.
"Oh, hi there..." I looked down at our feet that were now overlapping each other.
He laughed a little and released me, "Sorry, I was afraid you might fall little miss clumsy!"
I put on a "fake angry" glare and crossed my arms, "How rude!"
He sat there with a dorky grin on his face as I awaited his reply.
Nothing... Just that adorable little smile.
"Whatever," I playfully rolled my eyes and began to walk towards what looked like a small city over yonder.
I heard Denis' feet stomp on the ground as he ran to catch up with me.
As soon as he reached my side, his hand grazed the tips of my knuckles as we walked forward.
I smirked, "Are you trying to hold my hand?"
"Um..." He looked up towards the sky, "Maybe just a little bit..."
I couldn't help but smile as his gaze turned to my eyes. His lips began to inch closer to mine, and my heart beat completely stopped. Suddenly his mouth was locked with mine, our lips sending signals of sparks to our brains.
I was kissing Denis Stoff... THE Denis Stoff. The same guy I squealed over whenever he would sing a note in one of my favorite songs.
This is way too good to be true...
I quickly took my hand and placed it on my arm, squeezing my flesh between my fingers.
Well, I'm not dreaming.
After our long and passionate kiss, I looked around to make sure no one was watching.
To make sure Michael didn't see it.
"Ever since I saw you, Rachel, I wanted to do that..."
I smiled as he took a loose strand of my hair and pushed it behind my ear.
"You remember Warped Tour, right?"
I nodded, thinking back to when I first saw him preform with Asking Alexandria last year.
"Yeah, you guys did great!"
Denis took my hand and placed it on his chiseled cheek bone, "I remember seeing you that night... You had red hair then-"
"Wait. What?" My cheeks were flustered with the burning sensation of embarrassment, "I was all the way in the back, how did you even see me?"
"You stood out to me," He then took his hand and placed it on my cheek, just as he had done with my palm before,"You knew all the words, it filled me with so much happiness. I knew I would see you again..."
I began to stroke my thumb against the bone that defined his cheek so well.
"I..."
I couldn't speak.
I couldn't think.
I couldn't breathe.
"I'm sorry..." Denis spoke up before I could manage to force a sound out, "I shouldn't have done that, I should have gotten to know you better..."
"No, it's fine..." I removed my hand from his face and locked it his fingers, "I think it was the perfect timing."
