Angel Eyes

*Luke's POV*

Where is everyone? Could they possibly be running away from me because... I'm different?

"YAAAAHHH!" I heard the noise of a slashing blade scrape against the ground behind me after a scream of integrity sounded.

I quickly turned my tail around and stared directly into the point of a tall man's sword. It was so thick and heavy I couldn't believe a little scrawny dude like him could be holding it up to my chest.

"Mewto?" I peeped, forgetting I couldn't speak normal English.

The man's handsome features scrunched as he questioned me, but his blade still stayed alert, "Who are you? What's going on and HOW did I get here?"

I couldn't think of anything else to do but shrug. I'm pretty confused myself.

The pointy end of his dagger pressed against my neck.

"Speak, now!"

Instinctively, I raised my palms into the air and and squinted my eyes to hopefully somewhat numb the pain of my skin slicing open.

I heard the boy sigh.

"You're lost too, aren't you?"

I nodded my head as fast as possible, grateful that my life was spared once he lifted his arm and placed his sword into its holder on his back.

"I'm assuming your name is Mewto?" He asked when he noticed I was looking him up and down. His outfit was all dark. He could have blended into the night sky if he wanted, but yet he approached me without disguising himself.

I shook my head.

"No?" He scratched the back of his head, "Well, what is your name then?"

His daring features lit up to a happy smile.

I frowned.

I wish there was a way to speak to this guy... Wait!

I wrapped a small stick with my four fingers and began to trace out my name in the dirt, followed by the words "I can only say 'Mewto' for some odd reason... I'm pretty sure I was a human being before I was taken here'".

Once he was done reading, he stared into my eyes, "I knew you weren't like the rest of these creatures... Well, Luke, my name is Kirito! It's not the first time I've been somehow stuck in an alternate universe so I think that we should stick together... We can help disguise each other and make us both look somewhat normal here."

He seems nice, but then again he did have his sword against my throat a few minutes ago... Maybe he can help me find the others!

I went back to writing in the dirt and explained my situation to him. About the others, about the voice... about Elliott.

Kirito looked at me with a gloomy look in his dark eyes, "I... I'm sorry about your friend... I promise, I'll do anything to help you avenge him! We'll start by looking for your party, but if we're both here it wouldn't surprise me if something evil was taken here too..."

*Mary's POV*

I rolled my eyes as Grell's annoying voice kept running through my brain while he continued talking.

"Grell..."

A deep, dark, and handsome British accent spoke to cut the fiery reaper off.

Grell looked up and red hearts popped out of his eye sockets.

Not even kidding... Anime is so weird, it gives me a headache.

He pranced over to an extremely tall and mature man with gleaming yellow eyes and what looked like some sort of a pentagram on the back of his left hand, which had black polish painted along it's nails.

"Sebby! You aren't supposed to bother me while I'm at work!" Grell whined and leaned against the dark man's shoulder.

By dark, I mean this essence his presence he was beaming, not his skin because somehow he's paler than I am...  But his eyes, they're almost addicting...

The man cringed and shoved the head over heals Grell off of him, "I already told you, my name is Sebastian and I would rather keep it that way."

Sebastian, as I then knew his name, was dressed in a fitted black tuxedo with a matching tie pulled tightly around his thin neck.

"But, you're my little angel!" Grell continued to nag the clearly annoyed man.

Sebastian let out a long and deep sigh, then managed to bring a smirk to his lips, "I'm afraid reapers don't get angels... besides, I already belong to Ciel, and his soul belongs to me."

"Wait, so you're an angel?" I politely asked the upper class British man.

He looked down at me, causing his haunting eyes to flash red for a second.

"An angel?" He scoffed, "I'm almost offended... No, I am most certainly not, I'm just simply one hell of a butler."

I widened my eyelids, "Okay... sorry for asking."

"Apology not needed... Grell, might I ask if this is your newest clientele?"

Grell stared at me with puny squinting eyes, "She's about to be if she doesn't get out of my way..."

"Calm down," Sebastian's giggle was so low I nearly felt it in my throat, "I can take her off of your hands..."

My heart began to pound out of my chest as his eyes, once again, turned to a blood red color and locked onto mine. Out of the corner of my vision, I noticed the sign on his hand glowing a violet color as he raised his palm to my face.

"Angel?" He laughed at me one more time, "You're on the wrong side of heaven..."

I gulped down a chunk of saliva, "Wh.. what are you?"

The last words I remember him speaking before a sharp pain in my forehead caused me to black out was, "I'm simply one HELL of a butler..."

His hand stroked against my cheek as I fell into the arms of a demon.
