*one month later*
"Three days and it'll be my birthday!" I prance around yelling to my family as I stay at there place, Harry had to stay back home to work, but he'll be here the day before my birthday.
"We know, you tell us every fucking five minutes." Michael grumbles taking his eyes off his phone for a split second before looking back at it. "Michael!" My mom says with wide eyes and he shrugs. "You've heard me say it before.." He says under his breath. "Well, don't say it again!" She says shaking her head then continues to read one of her romance novels that no one has ever heard of before.
My dad walks in, keys in his hand, briefcase in the other, shutting the door behind him with his foot. "Hey, dad." I exclaim waving and he smiles opening his arms. I give him a hug, because I haven't seen him since Christmas and I missed him so much. "Hey, pal." He says into my shoulder as he grips my shoulders. "Look how big you've gotten. Harry is feeding you well, isn't he?" Dad says with a chuckle as he playfully hits my arm. "Uh, I guess..?" I say with a shrug while blushing from embarrassment. I haven't gotten that big since the last time I was here, have I?
"Well, what did you cook for dinner, hun?" Dad asks my mom as he leans down over the couch and gives her a kiss on the cheek. "Hot dogs, potato salad, and grilled zucchini." My mom says with a smile as she places her book down on the small coffee table beside the couch.
"Sounds good, let's eat." He smiles pulling Michael up by the ear. "Ah, dad, stop, stop." With each word Michael gradually got louder swatting his hands at our dad wanting him to let go. "Come on son, toughen up." Dad playfully says with a goofy grin plastered on his face. I giggle at the two as they argue jokingly as they pile food onto their plates.
"You two quit, my goodness." My mom laughs looking at me signaling that they were crazy, causing me to laugh. "Mom, this is delicious, thank you," I smile at her then take a sip of my sweet tea, that I made earlier today.
"You're welcome, sweetie." She says smiling at me then we continue to eat hungrily like animals.
"Goodnight, mom! Goodnight dad! Night Mikey!" I yell as I go up the stairs, combing my hair out with my fingers. "Goodnight!" They all yell in unison, which was either on purpose, or just plain creepy. I plop down on my old bed, hearing it creak underneath my subtle movements.
I pull out my phone and call Harry to tell him I was safe here and what has happened so far and ask what he did at work and if he cleaned up some of the house, which I doubt he did because he's so busy.
"Alright, well, I love you, and I miss you," I say looking at the time, 12:23, and I'm exhausted. "Okay, I love you too, and I miss you also, so much!" He says making me laugh then we hang up after saying, 'goodbye' one last time.
In the morning I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the smell of bacon downstairs. I smile and pull the covers off of me to go see what's for breakfast. "Good morning." I say happily pulling a seat out for me to sit in. "Morning, sweetie." My mom smiles back placing a plate of bacon, eggs, and biscuits and gravy in front of me. "Thanks." I say grabbing my fork and taking a bite of the egg.
"Today, we're going out to lunch and then we're going shopping, even though you're birthday is in two days." My mom says deep in thought making me smile. "Okay, seems fun." I say smiling over at her. I haven't really spent a lot of time with my mom, so I'm excited to be with her.
I jog up to my room and take a quick shower then get dressed into a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, a pink crop top,
and my vans. I ruffle my hair around to make it wavy, then put half of it up into a bun and leave the rest laying down, I love it like this!"Honey, are you ready?" My mom asks peaking her head through the door as I apply some liquid eyeliner to my eyes. "Oh, you look so pretty!" My mom gasps walking in with a big smile on her lips. "Thank you, so do you!" I squeal looking at her capri jeans and white blouse, the front partially tucked in. She honestly dresses like a teenager, which is pretty cool. "Aw, thanks." She says making sure her hair was all in place. It was a strawberry blonde color and so curly and gorgeous.
"Alrighty, let's go," she says pulling her purse on as I grab my phone and check my makeup one last time.
"Jade! Jade, where is Harry? Did you two break up?" I hear someone ask as my mom and I try to head into the mall, which is difficult with all of these people. I continue to ignore them as we get inside, my mom widening her eyes. "You're practically famous." She says breathlessly laughing. "Yep." I purse my lips then go into TopShop with my mother.
"Ow, what time is it?" I complain at the weight on my arms from the amount of bags I'm carrying. "About five, we should head home." My mom says struggling to look at her watch with all the bags on her arms. We get out of the mall, passing the paparazzi as they yell the same stupid questions, but one really made me pissed.
"Did Harry pay for all of those clothes?" Someone yells and I narrow my eyes. "No! He didn't, so you can shut the fuck up!" I flip them off as I get into the car with my mom. I hear her laugh as we close the doors. "What? That was a stupid question. 'Did Harry buy those clothes?'" I mock cringing at it as I roll my eyes. Ugh, they make me so mad!
"It's okay, let's just go home and eat." She smiles patting my leg. I smile as she begins to drive home.
As we pull into the driveway, I recognize a black Range Rover; Harry. He's here early! "Isn't that Harry's car?" My mom asks as we get our bags, I nod vigorously, running into the door.
"Harry!" I smile dropping my bags and giving him a huge bear hug. We almost trip and fall over each other, but luckily we didn't. "Oh, I missed you, and we weren't even that long apart." Harry chuckles and I agree giggling. "I know," I say getting on my tiptoes to kiss him. His lips tasted of mint and felt so soft and plump, I could kiss them all day.
"Ahem?" I hear my mom say causing me to pull away, blush on my cheeks, hiding my face into Harry's chest biting my lip. "Sorry, mom." I say smiling over at her with a dark pink face. I look up at Harry whose cheeks had a pink tint to them, aww, he was blushing.
"I'll cook dinner while you two catch up." She says and I thank her, running upstairs, dragging Harry behind me. "It's kinda mess because I haven't cleaned it and I thought you were coming tomorrow.." I say biting my lip as he walks over to the bed, laying down. I smile and sit down next to him, kicking my feet over the blankets. "You know Niall and Kate, right?" Harry asks and I nod. "They're wedding is in three weeks, and they're wanting you to come with me." Harry says rubbing his thumb over my tanned thigh.
"Okay, yeah, that'll be fun." I say with a smile. "Okay, I'll call them later to tell them that you're coming along." He says then kissed me, I pull him closer by his neck so I could savor this moment. "Oh, do you want to see the clothes I got?" I ask him with excitement after I pulled away, panting lightly.
"Of course!" He says in a girly type of way causing me to laugh. I grab my bags and show him everything I bought. "And this flannel is super cute, I can tie it around my waist and then in the fall I can actually wear it as a shirt." I smile at him and he nods. "It's really cute," he says and I nod. "I know!" I squeal getting too excited over clothes, but who wouldn't be excited?
"Jade, dinner's ready." My dad says staring at us intensely as he stands at the doorway. I was on Harry's lap so this looks a bit awkward and inappropriate, but we weren't doing anything. "Okay." I say quickly getting off of Harry and going downstairs to eat.
