[ Jade ]

The next few days I never saw Harry but oh, his stupid camera people did and it's pissing me off! Everyone thinks I'm dating him now and it's making me mad because we aren't! I mean it would be nice to date him, but it would also be absolute hell to also.

"Jade, you've been in the house all week..are you depressed?" Hanna asks like she's concerned using a sweet like tone in her high pitched voice. "Um, no." I say and she sighs feeling bad for me.

"Well, you need to go out and get some food, it's your turn to buy the groceries." She smiles and pats my back then walks up the steps carefully in her black high heels. I giggled as I watched her waddle up the stairs awkwardly. "Stop laughing!" She giggled along then leaves.

I sigh then get up, why is it my turn?! I change quickly into some black leggings, a purple/blue jumper that covered my parts down there. I slipped on my black combat boots and tied my hair up into a top knot. "Stupid groceries." I grumble under my breath and jog upstairs.

"Bye guys!" I yell with no emotion as I grab my purse and head out the door. I drove to the local grocery store using Hanna's car, I really need to get my own car.

I park in a handicap parking spot because I didn't want to walk from the end of the parking lot, I'm very lazy alright?

"Oh my god, hi. I'm Bethany, Mr. Styles' assistant." She cheers happily making me aggravated at how chirpy she is. And why the fuck is she talking to me. "And?" I huff putting a coffee bean container thingy into my basket.

"Well...I just wanted to say hello. You seem like a very wonderful girl from the pictures I've seen of you in the press." She smiles too widely making me want to walk away this instant. "Oh, well, it's nice to meet you.." I trailed off forgetting her name. "Bethany, but call me Beth." She giggled and I nod slowly.

"I kinda have-" she cut me off before I could tell her that I needed to leave. But I only wanted to get away from her. I don't trust people that are too cheery and nice.

"Um..Mr. Styles was wondering if you would meet him after work today." She said looking down at a yellow post-it note. "Hell no." I say and she widens her big, blue eyes. "But-but..you can't say no to him. If I come back and say that you didn't agree, he'll fire me! I can't get fired, I just got this job." She said as tears filled her eyes.

"Ugh, fine! But next time it's a no." I tell her and she smiles handing me the note and I stare at the black scribbled handwriting. It was the address to the law firm and the time to come.

"But I can hardly read this." I say to Beth looking up, but she was no where in sight. What the? I looked around confused, but she was..gone.

I roll my eyes and put the note in my boot since I didn't have any pockets.

After shopping I get into the car and start it waiting for the air to get warm. I check the note and read that I need to be there at one, it's almost two now. I don't care though, he can fucking wait if he wants to see me so bad.

I drive to the law firm, it was a huge skyscraper that was grey and black, but the sign above the doors said, Styles & Co. What the heck? I started laughing even though the blue writing wasn't that funny. I pull at my jumper as I get out and walk inside the building. It smelled like mint and women's perfume.

"Excuse me? Miss!" A lady stopped me as I headed towards the elevator. "What?" I huff looking at the clock on the wall. 2:25, just perfect! "Do you have an appointment with Mr. Styles?" She asks confused as she looks at her computer every few seconds.

"No, I'm...his girlfriend." I lie through my teeth and she gasps. "Really?" She asks cheerfully. Why is everyone was happy? I'm just a weird, hormonal girl.

"Then he's on the ninth floor, the very top." She smiles and I nod thanking her. I walk into the glass elevator that allows you to see the outside.

I inhale deeply not ready to see Harry. I widened my eyes and looked at my hair in my reflection of the glass. I pressed down on some of the hairs that were sticking up a bit. Ugh, this is awful. I brush off any lint on my leggings then apply some lip balm to my chapped lips, I hate the cold weather, it always make my lips crack.

When the doors open, I see people rushing around, sitting in their chairs typing away, and talking on their work phones. I fake my smile and walk out to the very end of the hall area thing where black, sleek double doors stood.

I smiled at some of the people at their desks, they knew who I was by their bright smiles and some looks of jealously and disgust. I knock on the door quietly and I hear a loud groan come from inside. "Bethany if that's you, bring me a coffee!" He yells and I scrunch up my nose at his rude tone.

I open the door some and slip through, when he sees me his eyes go a darker shade of green. "You were supposed to be here at one." He says angrily towards me. "So? At least I came!" I huff plopping down in a chair that sat across of his desk along with another one beside me.

"Whatever." He mumbles and types something on his computer that looked like an email. "Who are you writing to?" I ask curiously. "None of your business!" He snaps and I gulp looking down at my sleeves. "So..what'd you want me to come for?" I ask him quieter this time.

"Oh, right, uh..um, I can't remember." He says and I roll my eyes. "Aw, you wanted to see me." I coo and he stares at me mentally telling me to stop. "Ugh." I say standing up. "This place is boring. ..I could redecorate this place! It'll have orange walls-"

"No." He says like a robot and I roll my eyes looking out his window and over the large city. "Hey, this is really pretty." I say in awe. "I know," He smiles suddenly right next to me, I never saw him get up I guess.

"So, uh..would you like to go to this lame wedding with me? It's for my best friend and I kinda need a date." He says nervously rubbing the nape of his neck.

"Sure, but what do I wear?" I ask smiling up at him. "Not sure, a dress though. We can shop for one tomorrow." He smile and I shake my head. "No, no that's too much. You already bought my camera." I say and he shrugs. "So? I broke it." He chuckles making me smile at his happiness.

"I'll pick you up at twelve tomorrow, okay?" He says and I nod slowly. "Alright, but we aren't dating, tell your camera people that." I say making him chuckle lowly. "Camera people? It's called paparazzi. You'll understand when you're famous." He says arrogantly and I roll my eyes playfully.

"Yeah, okay." I tell him sarcastically. The door suddenly opens and there stands Bethany but in tears. What happened to her? I wonder as she tries putting the coffee cup on the desk, but drops it from shaking so badly. "Bethany!" Harry roars making me jump and her to sob some more. "I-I I'm sorry Mr-Mr. Styles." She says and I sigh giving her some tissues. She smiles weakly and thanks me in a whisper.

"Hey, it's okay. What happened?" I ask seating her in Harry's desk chair, he glares at me angrily. "My-my boyfriend, he-he passed away." She sobs and I sigh feeling terrible for her. That would be terrible. Someone you're in love with and then they're gone, worst feeling in the world finding out they passed. "Hey, Bethany?" I whisper and she looks up at me. Her eyes were filled with sadness and no longer bright and happy.

"Take the week off." I gulp taking a big risk. I could feel Harry's intense stare at the back of my head making me nervous to even move or talk. "But-but, Mr. St-"

"I'll figure it out. He can't stay mad at me, I mean look at me. I'm the bestest!" I cheer making a small giggle escape from her pink lips. "Thanks Jade." She smiles getting up to hug me and I let her. I hug back tightly, but not too tight to crush her. But, I probably couldn't, she's like a bit bigger than me. I'm not big, but I'm not little either, I guess, but my thighs are pretty big. Thunder thighs!

"Well, bye." She smiles weakly and walks out still sobbing. When she closes the door I feared that Harry might kill me.
