Izuku=Frisk.
Izuku went missing in middle school. He fell into the hole and became friends when Sans, Flowey, and everyone more of less as the story progressed.
Eventually the monsters opened a way to the human world, the above, but decided not to go; they let Frisk go though. However, Sans - knowing the kid used to get bullied since during one of the timelines Frisk told him - gifted them a piece of his bones that broke off during a fight (the place got healed by Gaster). Flowey also gave them a seed/petalsof his.
So while Frisk returned to his home and became Izuku again...he knows that there will be a place, will be those he can count on if he needs help.
For example, both monsters are able to go above, and would also be able to get him out of danger.
Now, with that adventure over, Izuku won't be put down easily. He just needs more determination than those around him!
