(Avengers'Tower, Y/n's POV)
I feel lost.
I'm not really sure what to do. Sitting around and doing nothing just doesn't feel right, but I don't know how I can help.
I have no idea where the team is. No idea when they'll be back.
I even tried speaking to Maria Hill to see if there were any secret or hidden compounds anywhere that they would've gone to, but it seems they didn't even tell her where they were going.
Loki's been trying to keep me occupied, but I can't stop thinking about what Stark said. What if List comes for me? What if he is really watching us all, and takes this as a perfect opportunity to strike? What if Loki can't protect me? What if I can't protect myself?
I can't end up back there.

I would rather die than be tied down by him again.
Every time I hear someone's footsteps, or every time I hear a buzzer go off or any unfamiliar sound, I tense up. I get scared. Apparently my fight or flight response is freeze. Didn't even realise that was an option.
It can't be an option.
I have to be ready for whatever.
