(Avengers' Tower, Loki's POV)
She hits me over and over again. I really don't want to hit her back, but I will if I have to.
"Y/n! Stop, it's me! It's Loki!"
I don't know if she can't hear me or if she's just not listening, but she doesn't stop coming for me. I have to duck to the side as she fires that electricity at me.
If I can find something to fight her with, but without causing too much damage, then that'd be great.
She tosses a dagger at me, and it sails mere inches from my face.
"Now that wasn't nice. Y/n, I know you're in there, you need to listen to me. You have to stop. This isn't you. This is whatever piece of Hydra crap you have stuck to your head, y/n, he's controlling you. You have to snap out of it."
I've never seen her like this. Her face is completely expressionless, she has nothing to say.
Glass shatters around us as Iron Man comes crashing through the window, his fist swinging for me.
His hit sends me sprawling to the ground, and he stands over me, ready to strike again.
"I knew I shouldn't have trusted you," he says and grabs me by the throat.
I try to shake my head, and tell him it's not me he needs to worry about, but I can't get the words out so I simply point behind him.
Still with his hand around my neck, he turns his head and ducks as a metal bar comes swinging for his face. It instead hits me square in the jaw.
Stark drops me and I fall onto the floor, head spinning.
"Y/n?" he looks confused. "What's going on here?"
She says nothing, just advances on him with the metal pole.
"It's Hydra," I choke out. "That thing..... On her head...... He's brainwashing her."
"Shit," he spits out. "Okay, uh, plan. The plan is......"
He steps back as she swings for him again.
"The plan is don't get hit, and we'll figure it out from there."
He fires his beam from his mechanic hand, but she crosses her arms in front of her, forming an electrical barrier on front of her that simply soaks up the blast.
It leaves her open from behind, and she's too preoccupied with Stark to worry about me. I pull one of my daggers from my belt and snap the blade off, leaving just the handle, and I spin it sharply through the air. It hits her just right in the back of her knees and she falls onto the ground.
"Loki!" Stark tosses a pair of familiar handcuffs to me, and I quickly snap them onto her wrists behind her back before she can do anything else.
She doesn't look angry, she doesn't look defeated...... She doesn't look anything.
Still as vacant and empty as a blank canvas.
"Okay then," he sighs and rubs his face with his hand. "We have just, and I mean just, dealt with Ultron. This is not what I was expecting to come back to, and it's definitely not what I wanted to come back to."
"Believe me, I'm not thrilled about it either. This isn't what I hoped would happen once she woke up."
"Let me guess, you were hoping to ride off into the sunset on a magical unicorn?"
"Don't make me hit you Stark."
He raises his hands defensively, "I'll back off, got it. But if you're just manipulating her-"
"Should we maybe discuss this later? Because right now we've already got someone else manipulating her. And whilst I love to see her kneeling for me, this wasn't exactly the situation I had in mind."
"First of all, shut your mouth. She's basically like my kid and I really do not need to hear you talking about her like that. Second of all, yes. We should probably put her somewhere other than just in the middle of the sitting room."
"Where?"
"Best place right now is the cell I reckon."
"You want to lock her up?"
"Got any better ideas? Until we figure out how to snap her out of whatever this is, she could attack any one of us at any moment. Or run away to god knows where. So yes, for now I would like to lock her up."
I shrug, "It'll be your funeral."
"I'll trust you not to give the eulogy. Shall we?" he indicates towards y/n, and I nod defeatedly.
There's nothing else really to do.
Y/n is now a prisoner.
