~Jade's POV~
My eyes suddenly flutter open by the sound of my phone ringing. I roll on my side and grab my phone from the edge of my bed. I answer the phone call without looking who was calling.
"Jade!" a voice scream through my phone. "Why are you late?"
"Late for?" I ask, curiously.
"Late for school, dummy," Erin responds in a 'duh' tone. "Did you forget again that yesterday was the end of Christmas break?"
"Wait, what?" I slightly yell, sitting down to my bed. "The last thing I remember is that we just started this school year."
"I have no idea what you're talking about," she replies, curiosity in her voice. "Just please come at lunch, ok? We have this new hot drama teacher after lunch."
"I bet his not that hot," I respond to her excitement. "None of the teachers I've seen are good looking."
"But trust me, he is freaking perfect," she says in a dreamy voice.
"Ok, I'll go get ready," I say and we both hang up the phone.
A puzzle look never left my face. I look back to my phone, my lock screen says: January 9, 2017. My eyes widen after I read the today's date. But yesterday was just the second day of school. Then I thought. It was all just a dream.
Everything was just a dream. When I met Cameron was a dream. I don't know any Cameron that's in my life. In my dream, both my brother either died or walked out on me. In reality, they didn't. They're just in college. My mom left us when I was 2 weeks old, telling my dad that she have to raise another kid that she got from another guy a year before she had me. So she left us with that man. Slut am I right?! My dad raised the three of us on his own and I am more thankful. My dad never had a girlfriend since mom left us. He said that all he needs in his life is us. The only truth about the dream was that my dad is a police officer and that my best friend is Erin.
Both of us are just regular people who gets in trouble every now and then. Detention is nothing to us. We know when to stop and to be mature especially when the principal threatens us to call our parents. We drink but not often. None of us have boyfriends. I wish I do but I don't. Erin and I have never been apart. We're always here for each other, to help one another.
I sigh at the thought of it just being a dream. I stand up on my bed and go to the bathroom. I did my normal bathroom routine. I dried myself off after. I put on a pink hoodie and a black leggings. I didn't try and dress myself too much. I'm only going to be at school for half a day so I'm not going to dress nicely.

"You're finally here," Erin slightly yells excitedly as she ran up to me. "C'mon we have that hot new teacher in 10 minutes."
She drags me to my locker. I sigh as I open my locker. I slowly put my drama books to my bag and rest it on my shoulder. I heard her groan as she jumps beside me up and down. I close my locker and she once again drag me to the classroom. She opens the door and sighs. I look inside and saw that all girls in my class are already sitting down at the front. We make our way to the back, where the guys are sitting.
"I'm going to get water," I say, standing up from my seat, and she nods her head.
I walk outside the room and walk to the closest vending machine. I insert my coins, pressing the water button. The bottle roll down the machine. I stand up straight and suddenly saw a figure beside me, making me startle a little.
"What do you want, Reed?" I ask, as he pins me up against the machine.
"Why didn't I see you this morning?" he asks back, pressing his hand beside my head on the machine.
