"You going to detention?" Erin asked, as soon as she approached my locker after school.
"Probably not, you?" I asked, grabbing my bag out of my locker.
"I have to," she frowned.
"Then I'll come with you," I smiled and she squealed happily.
We crossed our arm together and walked to Mr. Dallas' room.
"How do you think this is going to end?" she asked, almost reaching the room.
"Probably terrible," I replied and she nodded her head in agreement.
I knocked on the door as we finally reached his room. It took him a while to open it but he did, eventually. He gave us both a smile while I rolled my eyes and turned away from him. I took a seat at the very back of the room while Erin sat beside me.
"Anything you want to tell me, Ms. Hutcherson?" he smirked at me while I show no emotions at all, shaking my head. "Fine then. You get to clean up all the Drama textbooks in my office while you have detention with me today and tomorrow, too."
"How about no?" I replied, showing him no emotions.
"Ms. Swiss, you get to clean up the music room next door," he continued, ignoring my comment.
"By myself?" Erin asked, standing up from the desk.
"I think you're responsible enough to work on your own," he replied, looking straight at me. "And if you messed something up or do anything stupid you'll have another detention with me. Go now. I'll be checking up on you."
Erin groaned loudly as she stormed out of the room. I stand up and walked towards his office, which is near across his desk. I turned the doorknob but it was locked. That means talking to him. I sighed and walked towards him. I stretched out my arms a bit, asking him for the key, without talking to him.
"What?" he asked, confused.
I pointed at his office door. His face was still puzzled. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"I need the key for your office," I nearly shouted at him.
"Geez, Jade," he giggled, handing me the key.
I rolled my eyes, once again, and snatched the key away from him quickly. I put in the key hole. I turned the doorknob around and opened the door. I threw the keys back at him and he jumped up a little. I silently laughed once I walked in the closet but it came out more like a sigh. I turned on the light and I was greeted with tons of books lying down on the floor, with dust on their covers.
"Need help?" I suddenly heard someone said behind me.
I got startled a little and take a few deep breaths. I turned around to look at him.
"No," I quickly replied.
"I think you do," he responded, smirking.
"I said I don't need your help," I slightly shouted at him and he jumped a bit at the tone of my voice. "I never needed your help in the first place. I was perfectly fine until you came along... The first day I met you, I thought, just thought, that maybe you were different than the other guys out there in the world that I have met. But no. I was wrong. Totally wrong. You were the total opposite of I thought you were. I didn't care about your looks. I never did. But your attitude. Your attitude is getting on my nerves. Cam... Mr. Dallas, you were so sweet and all on the first day we met. But you've changed. You've changed so much. That I was there to see all your changes happening. I don't remember the day when I hated a guy so much that I just want to destroy him. Until I met you."
