~Jade's POV~

"Hey, you up for a party tonight?" I ask Shawn, looking up from my phone across me as we eat lunch at Tommy's.

"Sure," he replies, shrugging his shoulder, as he takes a bite out of his hamburger.

"Cool, we're leaving at 9," I smile, and he smiles back with hamburger in his mouth.

"Hutcherson," a cheerful voice yell from across the restaurant.

I look up and notice Shawn looking behind him. My smile turn to a frown when I saw the person who called my last name. He starts walking towards me while Shawn looks at me with confusion in his face. I roll my tongue in my mouth.

"Jade, my love," he smiles, standing beside our table.

I stand up and give him a force smile.

"Aaron," I say, biting the inside of my cheeks. "We both know that we have broken up 3 years ago. We both know you cheated on me so, please don't call me that again."

"I told you that that was a mistake," he says, looking at me and I let him. "Jade, you know I love you."

"Cheating is NOT a mistake," I snap at him, making the people in the restaurant look at us. "If you're truly in love with someone, you will not be able to kiss someone else without tasting your loved one's tears stain your lips. You will not be able to take your clothes off for someone else without feeling like a field ripped bare to its soil. Cheating is a choice, it's a choice you made because you obviously didn't give a single fuck about our relationship."

Tears begin to roll down my eyes as I finish shouting at him. I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders, pulling me away from Aaron. We exit the restaurant and I can feel my chest tightening. I can feel sweats and tears pouring down my face. Shawn turns me around me and look at me.

"Jade, breath please," Shawn suggests, rubbing my arms with his. "Inhale... Exhale."

I slowly did what he instructed but my breathing is becoming really short and shaky.

"You're doing well," he nods his head, worry in his face. "Just keep doing it. Just continue to breathe slowly."

I nod my head and continue what he instructed me. My breathing slowly comes normal. He stands up properly, wrapping his arms around me. I rest my head on his chest and wrap my arms around his torso, continuing to cry on his chest. His grip tighten around me as he sway us side by side. He start combing my hair with his fingertips, making me calm down a little bit. He slowly pulls away and leans down a bit. He caresses my cheeks with his hands, wiping my tears away.

"Are you okay now?" he asks, his eyes still hold worry.

I nod my head. I close my eyes, continuing to breathe. He grabs my hand, making me open my eyes. He leads me to my car. He opens the passenger door for me and I slide in. He walks around my car and slides in the driver's car. I hand him my car keys and he starts the engine. He begin to drive out of the parking lot and I look outside the window.

"I didn't know that Aaron is more of a jerk than that Cameron guy," he says, breaking the silence between us.

"Cameron doesn't remember anything from that night," I mumble but I know he heard me.

"What do you mean?" he asks, keeping his eyes on the road.

"She drugged him that night," I answer, looking at his face. "He told me that she gave him brownies and that's when he started to feel that his not himself."
