~Jade's POV~

We sit there, on the edge of the cliff under the night sky, admiring the lights from our small town down in front of us. I look up from my notepad then look back down, sketching the beautiful town. I look up at the night sky, where sparkling stars are spread out in the sky.

I sigh, lying down on the blanket beside him, our shoulders are touching each other.

Never in my life have I thought that I would get the chance to be happy again. I thought I would be sad and alone every day until I grow up. I thought I'm going to be living with my 50 dogs until I die.

Look at me now, I smile every second he talks to me. I've been smiling and blushing all afternoon and night that my cheeks are hurting.

"That's really pretty," I heard Cameron say, making me turn my head.

His head is too close, and I kind of like it. In fact, I love it.

I sit up from the blanket, making him sit up beside me, his chest press against my shoulder. I look down on the notepad I have on my lap. I twirl my pencil on my fingers, smiling.

"You think so?" I ask, looking up to him, slightly blushing.

"I know so," he smiles, moving closer to me even though there's no more space between us. "I never thought you could draw like that."

"I told you on the first day you were here," I say, slapping his shoulder and he pretend that his hurt.

"Ouch," he whines, holding up his shoulder but with a small smile on his face. "But seriously though, I thought you were lying."

"You should smile more often," I randomly say, and he looks at me with confusion.

"Yeah?" he asks, tilting his head.

"Yeah," I reply, biting my lip to prevent smiling. "You look more attractive when you smile rather than smirking."

"Did Jade Hutcherson just complimented Cameron Dallas?" he asks, smirking at me.

"You should feel special," I frown, tilting my head on the side. "I don't do that a lot."

"I do, I do feel special," he comments, making me smile.

"You should be," I smirk and I stand up on my feet.

"Where are you going?" he asks, behind me.

"Nowhere," I say, looking over my shoulder, sticking my tongue out.

"Oh no, not with that tongue again," he slightly yell behind me.

And with that, I felt myself being drag up off of the ground. I let out a high squeal with a laugh. He place me on his shoulder. I start to kick his chest and punch his back, letting a laugh everytime. He slap my butt and I let out a yelp.

"Cameron, put me down," I yell, continuing to punch his back.

"No," he simply replies, slapping my butt again.

"Cameron, please put me down," I laugh, lifting my head up to look at the side of his face.

He turns his head to look at me. Our faces is so close, only 3 inches apart, that I could smell his chocolaty breath from the chocolate ice cream we ate before. His brown eyes sparkle from the moon's light. Before I know it, I felt his soft lips on mine. My eyes widen at the big spark his body send to me as he give me a quick peck on the lips.

"You're a thief," I slightly shout, slapping his back.

"Am not," he defends himself.

"You just did, dumbass," I say, kicking his chest. "Put me down now!"
