~Jade's POV~
I woke up and suddenly groan when I realize its Monday. I look at the clock beside me and groan once again when the clock says 6:07 a.m. I'm supposed to wake up in an hour and a half. I sit down on my queen size bed, knowing that I won't get any more sleep.
Do your homework!
My brain tells me. Oh right! I haven't done any homework I had for this weekend. I got caught up with my feelings, recalling the nights where Cameron and I have kissed, which was twice and the feelings I got those nights. I was too busy minding the grenades exploding in my stomach. Too busy minding how fast my heart was beating when it was happening. A smile formed on my face at the thought of his lips moving in sync with mine when I happily said yes when he asked me to be his girlfriend.
I'm totally awake now.
I stood up from my bed, picking up my glasses from my nightstand, beside my bed. Stretching my arms out, I walk to turn on the lights. I walked to my bathroom that is attach to my bathroom. I brush my teeth, looking at my flush face in the mirror but my hair is a mess. I shrug my shoulder and I rinse my mouth. I strip off my clothes and take a quick shower. I walk out of the bathroom, wearing an oversized t-shirt that I used for sleeping. Approaching my closet, I look at the clothes I have. Being in a good mood I am at 6:30 in the morning, I take out an off-shoulder slim crop silhouette and jeans that are slightly ripped. Walking back in the bathroom, I slipped on my pick of clothes. But being in an extremely happy mood I am in, I walk back to my closet and take out a plaid shirt. Wrapping it around my waist, I walk to my jewelry box and I pull out a Rhinestoned Circle Charm Necklace that Jackson got me on Christmas.
Feeling satisfied about my clothing, I decide to do my natural make-up and hair in an hour.
I walk to my study desk and place my math homework on the table. Flipping to the right pages, I look at the first question. A smile form in my face, knowing exactly about how to do the question while showing the steps.
After answering a few more questions, I heard a faint knock on my door. I turn my head towards it, noticing Shawn peaking his head in. He smiles at me, which I return gladly.
"Come in," I say.
He opens the door wider for himself to get in. Once he's in, he closes the door gently and quietly. He takes a sit on my bed with a sigh. While I continue to finish the equation I am doing.
"Jade, can I ask you something?" I heard him ask behind me.
"Shoot," I simply reply after I finish another equation.
"About last week's party, do you mean anything you said to me when we got here?" he ask and my hand stop from writing, my whole body did.
I didn't bother turning around. I didn't want to. My body is like frozen to this spot as my eyes widened and my jaw hanging low.
He remembers that night but not one time did he mention what happened after the party. Why would he do that? I thought after that night, he would forget everything that happened starting when he got totally wasted. I thought that's what alcohol was supposed to do. Well, that's what it did to me.
"Shawn, I'm so..." I start but he cut me off.
"Just tell me if what you said was true," he says and I turn my seat around to look at him.
"No, it wasn't," I slowly reply.
"Then why would you say it?" he aggressively asks and I notice his fist being clench and unclench.
