The training session was going great, by the Assassins' standards at least. Shoji had been able to take Rin's medallion during his match. Now it was the last match of the day.
Vlad: "Last match! The A team will be Izuku Midoriya, Mina Ashido, Ochaco Uraraka, and Minoru Mineta!"
Aizawa: "Team B will consist of Neito Monoma, Reiko Yanagu, Hitoshi Shinso, Nirengeki Shoda, and Yui Kodai. Get in position."
Izuku walked with his classmates while simultaneously eyeing Monoma. Once they reached their starting positions they were given a few minutes to make a plan.
Ashido: "Midoriya, any ideas?"
Izuku put his hand to his chin for a second before answering.
Izuku: "Not really, but this team will be hard to fight. Kodai's Size quirk can make it so Yanagi can control countless items, then Shoda's Twin Impact can make them unpredictable as Kodai changes them back to full size. Lastly Monoma can double the strategy by copying their quirks. I suggest allowing me to deal with Monoma, other than that I have no clue."
Uraraka: "Well at least we know a probable strategy."
Izuku shook his head.
Izuku: "It's the only strategy they could use. Actually, I have one of my own. Mineta."
Mineta: "Yeah?"
Izuku: "Throw as many of your balls as possible."
Mineta looked at him confused.
Mineta: "Why?"
Izuku: "Simple, you're gonna our unpredictable projectile. Uraraka."
She nodded.
Izuku: "Make something weightless for Mineta to use as a shield."
Uraraka nodded once more and started looking around.
Ashido: "And me?"
Izuku: "Your job is to dissolve as many of their objects as possible and aid in both fighting and defending Mineta."
She nodded as Uraraka came back with a large chunk of broken pipe.
Izuku: "Good, you'll help fight against Shinso okay? Remember to not talk to him."
Uraraka: "Got it. This plan got a name?"
Izuku smiled and chuckled.
Izuku: "Yes it does. Operation Perverted Pinball is a go."
Then the buzzer sounded for the match to start.
---
Monoma's team had been setting up their strategy for a few minutes after the match started. They were getting increasingly cautious and paranoid since they hadn't seen the other team yet.
Shinso: "Do they usually take this long?"
Kodai: "No, at least not when I've talked to them."
Monoma: "These 1-A freaks are getting on my nerves."
Shinso: "Yeah, I'm not joining this class."
Shoda: "Don't blane you, wish I had a choice."
Just then a barrage of purple balls started falling from above them. They started to avoid them and set off their objects, only for them to be dissolved. They looked up to see Mineta and Ashido. Suddenly a pink trail of lightning blitzed past many of their objects and kicked Shinso away. Before Monoma could do anything he was grabbed and dragged away, a hand over his mouth to stop him from yelling out. Before he and his captor rounded the corner the last thing he saw was Mineta bouncing around and Ashido protecting him.
---
Back at the platform, the two classes were watching the fight.
Jirou: "Whoa, that was sick. Look at Mineta go!"
Sero: "Yeah, he may be a bit too much of a perv but you gotta admit, his fighting ability almost makes up for it."
Tetsutetsu: "They don't stand a chance!"
Kendo: "Sure they do, I may have pride and respect for our class, but Uraraka's speed, Mineta's unpredictability, Ashido's agility, and Midoriya's mind are a powerful team. Monoma's arrogance is what might cause our class' downfall in this match. Speaking of which where is he?"
Kaminari: "Oh you didn't see? Midoriya dragged him away when the fighting started."
Yaoyorozu: "Smart, he's isolating Monoma who's biggest strength is also his weakness, he needs others. He simultaneously 1-B's strongest and weakest member."
Kendo: "Wow, too bad Midoriya's in your class."
Tokage: "Yeah! He's smart AND cute! C'mon!"
1-A all shared a collective chuckle.
Tsu: "-Kero- Even if he was, he still wouldn't have gotten with you Tokage."
Tokage: "Why not!?"
Tsu: "He's seeing someone, and even if we wanted to they were gonna end up together, at least from my point of view. -kero-"
Tokage ran over.
Tokage: "Who!?"
Tsu: "Not telling."
Tokage groaned but turned around and resumed watching the match.
