Second Rescue

Izuku and Tomoko both woke up to his phone ringing early in the morning. When he picked it up, the number was that of a hospital, he answered the call.

Izuku: "Hello?"

Nurse: "Is this Altair? A little girl named Gildorn said that this number was for emergencies."

Izuku: "What's wrong?"

Nurse: "We're under attack. The trafficking ring sent soldiers to get back their victims. I have Gildorn with me but she's asleep. The hospital is i-"

Izuku: "I know where you guys are, trust me. I'll be there with other heros as soon as possible."

Nurse: "Please hurry."

The nurse hung up the phone and Izuku got up. He quickly called Ryukyu and told her the situation. He was about to leave the room when Tomoko tugged on his sleeve.

Tomoko: "Be safe Izu."

Izuku: "I will Tomo."

They shared a quick kiss before Izuku left the dorms.

2 Hours Later

He was standing across from the hospital, using Eagle Vision to asses the situation when Ryukyu and Edgeshot landed next to him.

Ryukyu: "What's the situation Altair?"

Altair: "15 soldiers on each floor, most are searching for the trafficked people we rescued, others are guarding. There's only a few people from the raid being treated here, we should assume there are other attacks happening as we speak. Sakura Gildorn is still safe with a nurse in the basement."

Edgeshot: "Understood. I can take a few floors by myself, I assume you can take the rest?"

Altair: "Take the top 5, I'll take the bottom 5. We'll meet in the middle. Ryukyu would you mind staying out here to watch for extraction teams or backup they might call?"

Ryukyu: "It's the only thing I can do in this situation, so I'll do it. I'll also radio to other heros to check out other hospitals."

Altair nodded, and motioned to Edgeshot to start the operation. Altair used his hook blade to climb down safely, he walked over to the entrance and quickly assassinated the two guards.

He entered and quickly dealt with the group in the immediate area. He walked over to a room that held a man with a mutation that gave him two extra arms, he was already unconscious and being dragged out by four men. Altair threw throwing knives at two of them, and used his blades on the last two. He woke the man up and told him to go to the basement where he would send others. He clicked his radio.

Altair: "First floor clear, one sent down to the basement, moving on."

He clicked his radio back off and went to the next floor. All the soldiers were in one room, since the woman in there, who had some form of fox quirk, was three times their height. He threw in a smoke bomb and killed them all, he then informed the woman, who said her name was Ippan Josei, that the basement was the safest place and that others were already there. He radioed his status and moved to the next floor.

It only took Edgeshot and Altair 20 minutes to clear the hospital. Altair told Edgeshot to go help at other hospitals and that he had something to do in the basement. He arrived there shortly and asked Josei if she had seen a little girl with a deer based quirk, she pointed in a direction and Altair eventually found the nurse who called him.

Altair: "Hello miss. I'm Altair, thank you for calling me, we wouldn't have known what was happening if you didn't."

Nurse: "Don't thank me, thank little Gildorn here, she's the one who gave me the number."

Suddenly the little girl woke up, and when she saw Altair, hugged him tightly.

Gildorn: "Thank you thank you thank you! I didn't know if you would come!"

Altair bent down and patted her head.

Altair: "I gave you the Symbol of Brotherhood, of course I would come. What's your dream little Gildorn?"

Gildorn: "I want to be a hero, but my quirk isn't suited for being a hero at all."

Altair: "Neither is mine. All it lets me do is see people through walls."

The girl looked at him in confusion.

Gildorn: "Then how are you a hero?"

Altair chuckled.

Altair: "Lots and lots of training. If you want, once I'm a full-fledged pro, I could train you."

Her confusion turned to amazement and excitement as she hugged him again.

Gildorn: "Thank you!"

Just then police officers came into the basement, Altair showed them his license and told them what happened. After saying goodbye to Gildorn once again, he returned to the dorms, in time to see everyone already up and getting ready for class. He turned to Aizawa with 'please, for the love of god' look on his face. Aizawa simply nodded, meaning Izuku could just sleep the day away in his room.

When he got there Tomoko was waiting for him, she walked up to him gave him a kiss on the cheek. He told her about what happened as he changed out of his hero suit. Once he was in comfortable clothes he laid in bed next to Tomoko.

Tomoko: "I know you didn't want to get up, so if it makes you feel any better. I stayed awake just so we could go back to sleep when you got back."

Izuku: "I'd normally say that's weird but right now, I'm happy you did. I love you Tomo."

Tomoko: "I love you too Izu."

They both fell asleep for the rest of the class day.
