In small, isolated area, away from the fighting of their teammates, were Izuku and Monoma. Izuku threw him against a wall of metal pipes and immediately lunged at him once more. He activated his Hidden Blade and pressed the tip to Monoma's throat.
Monoma: "W-wait! Don't you want t-to be a hero!?"
Izuku: "Freedom and free will are far more important to me than a job or title. You will tell me everything you know or I slit your throat here."
Monoma stayed quiet for a little longer than Izuku had apparently liked cause he was slammed into the pipes again.
Izuku: "Tell me now, Templar."
Monoma: "F-fine! Just back up!"
Izuku: "Fine."
He retracted his blade and took a few steps back. Monoma stood there.
Monoma: "What do you want to know?"
Izuku: "Names, locations, businesses, everything. But before that, why? Why are you a Templar? All your kind want is to control and manipulate, but you're a hero student. Why?"
Monoma adjusted his collar, clearly a nervous habit he picked up somewhere.
Monoma: "Let's see. As you know, not every hero is actually a Templar, in fact most are the kind of scum who wish for 'free will', or 'peace through love'. The only way for true peace to happen is control. I'm becoming a hero to ensure those are either found and killed, or converted."
Izuku hated the grin on the boy's face. It told him everything Monoma was hiding about himself. While he was mostly genuine, his true nature was much more... elegant. He had been trained before UA, he could easily kill many of the first and second years without a breaking a sweat. Dodging Kendo's chop earlier was just a small slip-up, though the others most likely saw it as luck.
Izuku: "In your twisted belief system, that almost makes sense."
Monoma: *Yelling* "What did you say!?"
He lunged at Izuku who just smirked. Izuku met him half way and put his Hidden Blade to the boy's throat once more. Monoma then heard a chuckle come from Izuku.
Monoma: "W-what's so f-funny?"
Izuku: "Oh nothing. Just that even with all your training, one small bout of anger takes it all away, leaving you more open than an abandoned kitten. And since you've been trusted with this task, that means that you're important. The other Templar heros are for public image and damage control, but you, you're for expansion."
Izuku's other hand reached into Monoma's hero suit and ripped out the medallion. Then Monoma chuckled.
Monoma: "You really should be more careful Altair."
Izuku then felt multiple, strong impacts all over his body. He was also sent backwards several feet/meters.
Monoma: "How'd twin impact feel?"
Izuku: "Ugh, not go-"
He froze, but not intentionally. Izuku was confused for a second before figuring it out.
Izuku: 'Dammit. Of course he would've copied Brainwash. Your an idiot Izuku.'
Monoma: "Now, as much as I'd love to kill you here, I know many of your allies are here and could kill me easily. Maybe that bitch Shiretoko wouldn't be that much trouble, she is quirkless after all. Good thing All For One took it, it's dangerous in your hands."
Izuku: 'Leave her alone!'
Monoma: "Well either way, I'll let you live for now scum."
With that he walked away, apparently forgetting his medallion. After a few minutes a loud buzzer was heard as well was Aizawa's voice.
Aizawa: "Team A wins, all opponents have been jailed. Please return to the main platform."
Even five minutes later and Monoma had not released him. Izuku was beginning to worry, while yes he was alive, he was trapped there meaning Monoma could be doing anything unchecked.
---
Jirou had her jacks plugged into nearby pipes to listen for any signs of life, Tomoko was running through the factory like area searching, and Tsutsumi was stood at the highest point surveying the area. Izuku hadn't been seen since he dragged Monoma away, and they were worried. But it was almost dark, the maze of pipes was too expensive for them.
Tomoko: "Anything Jirou?"
Jirou: "No, noth- Wait! I hear breathing. North West West, near the edge, that's all I can get."
Tsutsumi: "I'll go look. Get over there as fast as you can you two."
Tomoko and Jirou grunted affirmations and began running towards where he was. It took a few minutes but Tsutsumi was able to find Izuku, still in the position he was in hours ago.
Tsutsumi: "I found him. Get here."
She then walked over to him and crouched infront of him. She noticed his eyes were closed, meaning he had fallen asleep. Then Tomoko and Jirou made it to the little area.
Tsutsumi: "You're here, good. Either of you know how to snap him out of it?"
Jirou: "A big enough disruption should do it. According to Ojiro, back at the Sports Festival it took something like bumping shoulders. But since he's gotten stronger, you might wanna slap him."
The purple haired woman smiled and nodded.
Tsutsumi: "Sorry Mentor, but this is for your own good."
She then wound up, extended her barrel from her elbow, and hit him as hard as she could. He fell to his said and rubbed his cheek. He then sat up and looked at the three.
Izuku: "Oh thank god you're all okay!"
Tomoko: "Why wouldn't we be?"
Izuku: "He's dangerous. He knows what he's doing, he let me live for a reason. Our next target is whoever is ordering Monoma around."
He then pulled out the medallion he took.
Izuku: "And we'll start with this."
