Izuku: "All Might? How do you know?"
All Might gestured towards Nezu.
All Might: "Nezu brought both me and your mother down here."
Hisashi stepped towards All Might, looked him up and down, and turned to face Inko.
Hisashi: "How did you manage get with him?"
Inko shrugged.
Inko: "Luck. Among other things."
Hisashi scoffed.
Hisashi: *mumble* "Bad taste on his part."
She stood and approached him.
Inko: "What did you say?"
He turned away.
Hisashi: "Oh. Nothing in particular."
Inko huffed.
Inko: "That's what I thought. Coward."
Hisashi whipped back around.
Hisashi: "At least my operations were successful. The only thing you were good at was looking good. At least your name made sense, Penguin. A beautiful bird unable to fly."
Izuku walked between them and pushed them apart.
Izuku: "As much as I'd like to know just how you two ever tolerated each other, we have more important business."
He turned to All Might.
Izuku: "Who are these people you mentioned."
All Might: "An old friend and his daughter. They're some of the smartest people in the world and I know for a fact that they wouldn't stand for these Templars and what they stand for."
Nezu: "You're talking about Mr. Shield, correct?"
All Might nodded.
Nezu: "Get in contact."
All Might: "Right away."
He quickly left the room.
Inko: "I'm going to join him."
She followed the skeleton man.
This left Izuku, Tomoko, Nezu, Aizawa, and Hisashi in the room. Izuku turned around to speak with Nezu and Aizawa.
Izuku: "Have there been any developments since my imprisonment?"
Nezu nodded.
Nezu: "It seems a group we thought to have died out is alive and well, the Meta Liberation Army. They believe quirk use is a natural right and that quirks should be able to be used by anyone."
Izuku: "That mindset only invites trouble. They hope the people would have the self-control to not fall to crime."
Aizawa: "Which is exactly why we have an informant on the inside. Though something has changed recently."
Izuku: "And that is?"
Aizawa: "They've merged with the League of Villains and named Shigaraki their leader. They now go by the Paranormal Liberation Front. That, and Hawks is part of the organization."
Izuku: "So the Templars are keeping an eye on them. Who's our informant?"
Nezu reached into a folder and pulled out a picture of a man with straight, jet-black hair with bangs that covered his eyes.
Nezu: "Tomoyasu Chikazoku, a.k.a Skeptic. Previously the second-in-command of the Meta Liberation Army. He's fiercely loyal to their previous leader, known as Re-Destro, so loyal that he's willing to sabotage their current operations to ensure Re-Destro rises back to power."
Izuku: "We could use an agent in their ranks. We don't know what Skeptic himself is planning."
Hisashi: "It can't be me. Hawks would spot me from a mile away."
Izuku: "Same with all of us in this room."
Tomoko: "What about recruiting a more skeptical follower?"
Izuku: "That could work. I'll leave finding them to you, Eraser. I'll work on recruiting them. Now, I need some air and to get out of my gear."
The three men nodded as Izuku left and Tomoko followed.
---
It had become night and Izuku stood atop the 1-A dorm building, looking out over the campus. He heard footsteps behind him. Tomoko took her place next to him.
Tomoko: "Izuku, what did you see? In the Animus that is."
Izuku sighed.
Izuku: "A lot. I've seen just how ruthless the Templars can be. I have felt the blood they spilled, the anger they felt, the way it all affected them. They are sick and only care about control, no matter the cost."
She gripped his hand.
Izuku: "The-"
He heard something. He looked to his right and saw a figure he'd hoped he'd never seen again, Ohnoki Midoriya. The man looked like a ghost, but his presence felt so real. The man charged Izuku, his blade ready. He swung and Izuku went to stop the blade, just for the blade and the man to dissipate upon contact.
Tomoko: "-uku!"
Izuku whipped around to see a confused Tomoko. He looked back to see nothing was where the ghostly figure was. He looked to Tomoko once more.
Tomoko: "What happened?"
Izuku: "I.... I don't know."
