Today was the first time Izuku and Asui were called in for their Work Study with Ryukyu. They both got up early, put on their hero suits, and made their way to Ryukyu's agency. When they got there they met up with Hado and entered the pro's office. She looked up at the three and started the day.
Ryukyu: "Welcome. Today will be the first time two of you get to actually participate in heroic actions. We'll just start with a basic patrol, remember to keep to our 5 mile perimeter. Froppy, you're with Nejire-chan, I'll stick with... sorry but I can't recall your hero name Midoriya."
Izuku: "It's fine. The only people who know it are Tomoko, Nezu, and whoever types out the licenses. I'm the Assassination Hero: Altair."
Ryukyu closed her eyes and nodded, as if deep in thought.
Ryukyu: "That's a good name, although I think the title's a bit on the nose. Well then, Altair will be patrolling with me today. Meet back here at the agency in 3 hours."
They all nodded, Froppy and Nejire-chan went south, while Altair and Ryukyu headed north. To both make it so he could keep up, and to not let criminals know she was patrolling so easily, Ryukyu stuck to her human form. Everything was relatively quiet, a drug deal here and there, maybe a purse snatcher, just an hour before they were to head back, Ryukyu and Altair could be seen taking a break on a roof. It was silent until Ryukyu brought something up she had heard earlier.
Ryukyu: "So, Midoriya. What's with you calling her Tomoko? I get that you've been friends for a while but I just don't see how only a couple months could lead to being that close. Unless there's more between you two than meets the eye?"
This cause Altair to slightly panic at the thought of being found out.
Altair: "W-whaaaat? Noooo."
Ryukyu chuckled at his blatant lie.
Ryukyu: "It's alright. I don't think it'll bring any harm. Just don't let Tiger find out, I know he already hates you but if he found this out, he might actually kill you."
It was Altair's turn to laugh a little.
Altair: "You're right. But given the fact the last time I saw him, he had to ambush me while I was coming out of the shower, I think my chances are pretty good."
They both had a small laugh before getting up a finishing their patrol.
Time Skip 2 Hours
Ryukyu and her Work Study students were on the roof of a warehouse. The police had gotten a tip on a possible auction for trafficked people with mutant quirks and had asked Ryukyu's agency to help with the raid. Altair looked through a sky light, what he saw sickened him. A raised platform, in front of 10 rows of chairs, all filled with wealthy men and women. On the stage were two people, a man in a suit who was obviously running the show, and a small girl, not older than 11, who had some form of a mutant deer quirk.
He had seen enough, he looked towards Ryukyu, who just nodded, he took that as her letting him get to work. He opened the skylight just enough to slip inside, he then landed on one of the rafters. He looked around with Eagle Vision, he saw around 15 guards stationed around the warehouse, he also saw a big glob of gold underneath the warehouse. He clicked his on his comlink.
Altair: "The people are locked in some sort of basement underneath the building."
He clicked it off and started his work. He walked across the rafters until he was over a guard, and assassinated him. Another came around the corner and got taken out with a Phantom Blade he then climbed back up. He had gotten 7 guards before someone found one of the others. The man on stage was starting to run, so Altair used the hook blade to swing off of the rafters and landed on the man, knocking him put. He radioed in.
Altair: "Auctioneer down, though I'm compromised."
Ryukyu: "Got it, we're coming in now"
A loud crash could be heard as Ryukyu crashed through the roof as a dragon, the debris also blocked most exits so the remaining customers couldn't escape. After just a few minutes the remaining guards and customers were apprehended and the civilians were released. They all went over to thank Ryukyu and the police, except for the young deer girl who was on stage, who walked over to Altair, who was standing a little bit away from the rest.
DG: "Thank you for saving me Mr. Hero. What's your name?"
Altair crouched down to match her height.
Altair: "I'm the Assassination Hero: Altair. What's your name?"
DG: "My name's Sakura Gildorn."
Altair: "Well little Gildorn, let's get you home safe, okay?"
The little girl nodded as Altair picked her up and took her towards a police officer near his car.
PO: "I know not many of them are thanking you but this wouldn't have gone as smoothly without your help, so thank you."
Altair: "No problem, though if you really want to thank me, you could find the parents of one Sakura Gildorn."
The officer nodded and radioed in the girl's name. She looked up at Altair sadly as he put her down. He saw this and decided to give her something he had custom made. He reached into a pouch on his costume, and pulled out a pin, much like one that would be put on a hat, the shape was that of the underside of an eagle's skull. He pinned it to the dress he had on.
Altair: "Sakura Gildorn, I hereby give you the title, Honorary Assassin. Use this wisely, if you ever need help, just give this number a call and tell the person who answers your name. Once I create an agency, just call that, okay?"
The little girl's face lit up as he handed her a small card.
SG: "Thank you Altair!"
He chuckled at her excitement.
Altair: "No problem Sister."
The officer then came back over to the two.
PO: "Her parents will be here tomorrow, they live on the other end of the country, for now she should be taken to a hospital to ensure her health."
Altair nodded, and said goodbye to the small girl as she was loaded into an ambulance. He then met up with the others.
Nejire-chan: "Hey hey hey. What was that pin you gave that girl?"
Altair: "I call it a Symbol of Brotherhood. It represents how anyone can see each other as family, even if they aren't related. These connect all members of what I will eventually call, the Assassin Brotherhood. They can also track whoever is holding them so other members can get to them if they're in trouble, although I'm the only one who can track them right now."
The other three heros looked at him in amazement, which caused him to laugh. Later that evening, he and Tomoko were asleep, when his phone started to ring.
