You turn around, not bothering to pick up your bicycle, and run home.
Rain pounds down on you, shoes pounding on the pavement. Your breath starts to catch, and you aren't sure why you're running as fast as you are, but it doesn't matter anymore.
You have a gut feeling you need to get home. Fast.

You turn the corner onto your block, realizing that you've made it home unscathed, for the most part. You suddenly feel a bit foolish for running like that, but it doesn't matter anymore.

But the choice is yours. You remove your headphones from your ears as you glance at the bushes one more time, on edge.
