"Troy, quit it," you say.
"Or what?" Troy snickers.
"Hey, watch where you're going, Frogface." James trips Mike. He falls onto the rocky ground.
Troy and James snicker.
You're fed up with the two of them. "Not cool," you mumble.
"What was that? Speak up!" Troy laughs.
"Not. Cool," you say. You attempt to shove Troy to the ground, but he's taller than you and only stumbles a little.
The bullies find this more amusing than anything and walk away, snickering and miming pushing each other.
"You all right?" Dustin asks Mike.
"I'm fine." Mike shakes his head. "I told you to ignore them," Mike says to you.
"They're a bunch of stupid jerks," you say. You roll your eyes.
"Provoking them will only lead to more trouble."
"Hey." Dustin picks up a rock from the ground. "How about this one?"
"Yeah," Lucas says.
"Yeah?"
"Oh, yeah. This is the monster killer!"
You all grin.
