You glance at the Party. They're talking, and you decide they wouldn't notice if you walked off.

You pull your headphones over your ears and push play on your Walkman.

You sneak off into the woods and pull out your flashlight. You head in the direction the rustling seemed to come from.

You don't find any animal, but after a while of walking, you come across a tree.

[𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱] 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺. . .

It looks like one of the sides has rotted away, and there's a thin film of something that looks sticky and weird where the wood used to be. It looks like you can go into the tree, like some type of portal, or something. You touch the tree, weirded out, and when you look at your hand, there's a slimy goop where you touched it.

Curious, you try to stick your arm into the tree, pushing your hand through the film. You pull it out, and it seems unharmed.

You wonder if you'd be able to go through the tree. Worth a shot, you suppose.

You stick your head through, holding your breath.

Your head comes out the other side, and you cough, breathing in dusty, rough air.

You crawl out of the hole, holding your flashlight out in front of you.

What is this place?

You seem to be in a dark, otherworldly place that looks just like the forest you just left. But it's different. Darker.

Maybe this is where Will is.

"Will?" you call out.

You don't hear anything, but he might still be here.

You set off at a run through the woods.

Your music distorts. A glitchy, static sound fills your headphones.

You hear a click! and then. . .Will's voice?

He's singing that song he always sings, Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash.

"W-will?" you wonder, looking around.

You turn around in the middle of the woods. You think you can remember the way to the old tree that got you here. You could get out of this weird place, find the Party, get backup, and come back to find Will.

Or you could continue the search for Will by yourself, alone.
