Chapter 13: The Answer To A Question

It was now close to evening when Mey finished inventory in sickbay. Since Seonghwa and the others went to go and find her earlier in the day, he did not have a chance to finish his work, so Mey said she would while they did their final shopping. At first they did not like the idea of her staying alone on the ship, but she reassured them that she would be fine. Plus, Commander Penn still being in Seros did not bode well for her to walk around anymore. After cleaning up some messes left behind, she decided to head to the galley and make some dinner knowing full well they would set sail once they returned to the ship. She gathered some ingredients from the cabinets and began to mix it all together remembering the things Yeosang taught her. She began to get lost deep in thought.

    "I did not remember them because of a sickness I had that took away most of my childhood memories. I have regained some of them, but it will take time to remember all of them." Her comment she made earlier that day was still there in the back of her mind. She closed her eyes and opened them again to find herself by the waterfall back in Barranor. She saw a small girl that resembled her younger self and a small boy playing and laughing in the water. The small boy was not Felix as he did not have the same hair color, but Mey could tell they were close. If that was her, then who was he? Then she heard her name being called.

    "Mey, you are drifting again." The familiar voice snapped her back as she saw a hand being waved in front of her. She looked to see Yeosang standing in front of her, and her eyes grew wide. His ash toned hair was now perfectly combed back and fell behind his ears with a few strands around his eyes. He wore black pants that were tucked into his knee high black boots, and his once ripped white blouse was now gone and replaced with a sleeveless burgundy vest with black buckles across the front holding it shut. A black belt was cinched around his waist that held his cutlass and coin pouch. Mey already knew he was strong, but now his muscles were all out on display showing how strong he actually was. "You alright, Mey?" Mey blinked her eyes a couple of times before smiling.

     "Sorry, I'm....not use to seeing....you like this. It's a great....look on you." Mey stuttered out. Yeosang looked down at himself then began to rub his neck hiding his blushing cheeks.

    "I thought it was too much. Wooyoung and Yunho saw these vests and thought they would fit." Yeosang mumbled out smiling as he talked. Mey's eyes widened slightly. Oh seven seas, does he mean the rest of them look like this too? "Hongjoong said he wanted you on deck. There's some people he wants you to meet." Mey gave a little nod before following Yeosang up to the main deck. Once her eyes saw the rest of them, it was very clear that Yeosang was not the only toned one on board ship. While Yeosang had the rich burgundy, Hongjoong wore a dark red, Seonghwa had a dark beige, Mingi had a crème color, Yunho, a dark green, Jongho a white, Wooyoung wore a navy blue, and San wore a black. Mey felt her eyes never leave San. The black, buckled vest accentuated his waist and showed his tone muscles. The black pants tucked into his knee high black boots and his silver cutlass hanging from his belt just made him stand out even more. San noticed Mey was now on deck and flashed her a bright smile when he looked her way. 

    "Mey, there's some people I'd like you to meet." Hongjoong said suddenly standing next to her. Mey turned and gave him a slight nod before walking with him towards the gangplank There stood five more men just as good looking as the rest. There clothing was similar to that of the others but there were no buckles on the vest to keep them clothes, instead, they were buttoned. Hongjoong placed a hand behind her back as to steady her as the ship  began to pull away from the harbor. "Mey, I want you to meet the newest members of the crew. This is Bang Chan, Lee Minho, Yang Jeongin, Han Ji Sung, and Seo Changbin." Each of them bowed to Mey as their name was said which Mey also bowed after.
