"Why can't we just go in there and blow them off the face of this earth?" Mey rolled her eyes for what seemed to be the hundredth time.

"For the last time, Woo, that is not what the captain wanted. We don't know what prisoners were taken or exactly how many men are in there. Plus, the captain is in there. You blow him up, he'll come back to haunt you until the day you die." Wooyoung gave a sigh as he finally sat down on the ground.

"I still think it was a stupid idea to let himself get captured. We have been waiting out here for three days." Mey felt herself smile.

"Are you going to keep complaining?" She asked with a laugh. Wooyoung looked at her and smiled.

"Maybe." Mey saw Yeosang roll his eyes which caused a small laugh to escape her lips. A year and four months since she joined the crew, four months since her marriage to San. She couldn't have been more happy then she was now. Her father and brother wrote to her just as before, and her life aboard a ship with her crew of "pirates" was everything she could ask for. And here she was again, on another stealth mission with Wooyoung and Yeosang who were now her closest friends including Mingi. They were now waiting for a signal from Hongjoong that it was time to commence with the plan of releasing some people who were taken captive for Yang. The plan was to have Hongjoong be captured, letting him be kept with the other prisoners then somehow warn the others. Once the signal was given, Mey was suppose to take the lead. The convincing it took San was more than Hongjoong bargained for.

"Captain, I protest against this. My wife is not bait." San angrily shouted in the captain's cabin. Hongjoong sighed.

"It was her decision, San. I did not want this either, but Mey is headstrong. She was not going to take no for an answer." San felt like he was going to burst. He always feared Mey would someday hurt herself with everything she had been doing. "San, she has grown a lot in over a year. There is little to no one that can take either, Yunho, Jongho, or Yeosang in a fight, and she can take all three down without any trouble. Hell, I feel as though she would make a better captain than myself." San looked up at his captain who was now leaning on the side of his desk. Hongjoong then straightened up and walked towards San, putting a hand on his shoulder. "You chose a a fine woman, San, and she chose a fine man. She's the best first mate I could have asked for. She knows what she's doing."

An explosion was then heard from the cavern that Wooyoung, Yeosang, and Mey were watching.

"That was the signal." Yeosang said. Mey could hear a little panic in his voice. San was not the only one who didn't want her to do this mission; none of them wanted her too. Even Han, Changbin, and Seungmin tried to protest, but as Hongjoong said, she was headstrong. She knew it would be more convincing this way. She turned back to Wooyoung and Yeosang as they gathered their equipment.

"Alright, go by the plan. Do not try to be a hero. Yeosang, you'll take Chan, Hyunjin, and Jongho around to the back of the cave. Wooyoung, yourself, Yunho, Mingi, San, and Seungmin will ambush them once they reach the end of the trail like Hongjoong had planned. Seonghwa and the rest are waiting on the ships in case we need backup. Now, let's go." With that, Mey took her pistol in hand and ran for the mouth of the cavern lit up from the inside by torches. Once she saw the others making their way towards the rear of the cave, she began to walk inside. She kept her guard up as she continued walking, hearing voices come from one of the ends of the cavern. She quickly made her way towards the voices and stopped when she entered. There was Hongjoong pinned up against the wall with a pistol barrel to his throat. Four other henchmen saw Mey and immediately drew their pistols, aiming them at her. Once the leader, who had Hongjoong, turned to see her, he grabbed Hongjoong and turned him towards her, pinning the barrel to his temple.
