"And you are sure she said the Isle of Whispers?" Yeosang asked once again as he flipped through yet another book. Mey nodded as she also began to look at another book from off the shelf.
'I thought for sure one of these books would tell us something. We've looked through every single one it seems and nothing." Mey gave a heavy sigh as she placed the book back on the shelf and sat in a nearby chair. Yeosang took one last book from the shelf and sat in a chair beside her. They indeed look through every single book he had on the ship, and none of them spoke about secrets that the Isle of Whispers had locked away. Yeosang scanned through the book, hoping to find at least one chapter that could contain something about this island, but again nothing. He placed the book on a nearby table, giving a sigh.
"Well, we will reach the place in a few days. Maybe we will just have to see what we find there." Yeosang said trying to lighten the mood.
"I hope so." Mey replied leaning back in her chair. There was a silence as Yeosang stood from his chair and stretched; his muscles flexing as she stretched them behind his head.
"How about you help me with dinner? It's been awhile since we cooked together, and I have missed it a lot recently." Mey smiled up at his words.
"I would love too." Mey then stood from her seat and walked into the galley right around the corner. It had been awhile since Mey helped Yeosang with anything since the pregnancy and birth of Tae. And with Tae still in Callista safe and sound, she could concentrate back on the crew. She really did miss the food fights and talks they would always have while preparing and cooking many meals. Yeosang and Mey began to prepare a fantastic meal as they began to talk about many things; some that they have already discussed and some new things about the crew. As time went on, there was a small silence as Yeosang was now trying to focus on cutting some vegetables when Mey looked up from her place and over at Yeosang with a smirk across her face. Without a second thought, she tossed some flour towards him with it landing right on his cheek even covering his birthmark. He slowly looked up and over to her with a glare in his eyes before it quickly changed to a smirk. He then threw a cut up vegetables right at her face. Before they knew it, a full on food fight had now broken out in the galley. After sometime, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Seonghwa had now made their way down to the galley where they walked in to Yeosang and Mey now laying flat on the floor laughing at the top of their lungs. Even though the galley was now a mess, the sight of Yeosang and Mey smiling and laughing put smiles on Mingi, Wooyoung, and Seonghwa's faces.
"As I know why this galley is a mess, may I ask why you two are now on the floor laughing?" Seonghwa asked holding back his laughter as well.
"I...I chucked a piece of fruit at....at Yeosang, and he....he tried to dodge, but....but ran straight into the wall over there." Mey laughed out causing Wooyoung to break out in his dolphin laugh with Mingi right after him. Seonghwa could not hold back his laugh anymore either was now laughing along with them. It took them sometime to catch their breath, but once they did, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Seonghwa helped Yeosang and Mey clean up the galley and let them continue with dinner. It only took them about a half an hour more until dinner was ready, and the crew was now eating and drinking to their hearts content.
The sun was shining high in the sky as the STAR and CHARMER pulled into the bay of the Isle of Whispers. Hongjoong and Chan both ordered for the anchors to be dropped and the long boats to be lowered as half of each crew prepared to go ashore. Since Wooyoung and Mingi were with Mey before when they visited the island, he asked for them as well as San and Jongho to go along with them while Han, Seungmin, I.N, and Changbin searched the island in search for food, water, and any possible life that may have made a home here. Fortunately, Wooyoung and Mingi remembered the way back to the fresh waters they found the last time they were here. As they inched closer and closer, Mey looked down to see her pendant slowly begin to glow just like it did last time. She looked back up at the others, letting them know they were getting closer. As they cleared the now overgrown brush, they saw the sight of the fresh water spring with the calm waterfall, and dead ahead, the cave that now seemed to be calling more than ever. Suddenly, the sweet calming voice was heard on the wind. Mey looked around at the others who were taking in the beauty around them. Like before, they did not hear it. She decided to track on ahead towards the mouth of the cave as the others followed behind her. The voice grew louder and louder, and the pendants began to glow brighter and brighter as she neared the entrance. She then stood there, somewhat scared to move and further in. She then felt an arm rest around her waist, and as she looked up, she saw San smiling down at her.
