(3rd person's pov):

As the guys escaped from the Guild leader; Atsushi makes a run to the other way through the railings of the ground floor in the Moby Dick. But Akutagawa catches him with his Rashoumon from behind making him fall on the ground.

"Earlier I told you that I find your actions completely incomprehensible!" Akutagawa trails off as he walk towards the tiger boy, "I take that back!"

"You keep fighting were-tiger because you think you need permission to exist," He growls, "You are ready to sacrifice your own life for that very stupid reason!!"

"You make me sick!!"

Atsushi gasped at his words. The flashbacks of his childhood came all the way to his head. In a way Akutagawa was right. He thought.

Akutagawa pierced the Rashoumon blades through Atsushi's back spilling blood. The tiger boy screamed out of pain.

"Do you honestly believe that someone is out there to grant you permission to live?!!" He darkly says lifting up the tiger kid in the air.

"Do you think that if you put your life on the line fighting for others, someone will come and stamp a form certifying that you deserve to live?!!!!" He shouted loudly as his voice echoed;

Atsushi stutters groaning in pain as he tries to speak replying the black cloaked guy, "S-since when it is a..crime to believe that someone will---"

Before he could say something more Akutagawa throws him taking out the blades that he pierced through his back earlier. Atsushi fell on the ground from a height and hit his wounded back again. This made him scream more.

"You are pathetic!!"

"I never expected you to be such a fool!"

"I could kill you a hundred times in a battle, yet I would accomplish nothing!!"

Akutagawa growls glaring down at Atsushi; who tries to lift up his head to look at him.

"A-acomplishments.. in a battle?! Seriously?" He groans.

"Indeed," Akutagawa says,"Only Victory in battle has a real value!!"

"Without any accomplishment or any victory in a battle, those two will never acknowledge me!" He says; his face showed a regretable expression.

Atsushi frowns, "T-those two.. you mean----"

.....

"I see," The tiger kid sighs, "So that's what it is about huh? You wanted to be acknowledged by Dazai and Emily?"

There was a huge crash which drew their attention in the midst of their conversation.
And when they turned around they saw Francis who broke the wall making a noise. He came all the way down there finding both of them.

"Here you are, stray dogs!" Francis smirks, "I have finally found you."

*In the Communication hall*

"Emily!" Dazai calls,

"Huh?" She stared at him.

"Why do you don't acknowledge him?" He asked with a smile.

"Who? Akutagawa?" She asked and he hums, nodding his head, "Uhmm hmm"

"Because he have no sense of morality in a battle perhaps?" Emily replied, "Victory is not the only thing that matters."

"I see," Dazai says.
