(The Next Day, 10:36 a.m.)
(3rd person's pov) :
The Offensive Teams of the Armed Detective Agency including Kunikida, Tanizaki, Emily, Dazai and Atsushi headed out while the others stayed in the temporary hideout at their headquarters (Bankoudou).
"Man~ I am so bored~" Ranpo whines leaning down on the bench in the left row, "I wanna go outside~~"
"Any suspicious activities?" The President asked as he was reading a book, while playing Shogi (Japanese chess)
Yosano who was watching the CCTV footages in several laptops, lets out a sigh before replying the president, "A bunch of nothing, followed by mourn nothing~"
"Hmm" The President mumbles thoughtfully, "Luckily, the only way to enter this hall is through the underground railroad tunnel. Even if the enemy does try to enter, the security camera footage will warn us before they get here."
"We set alot of traps along the way as well---" Yosano said keeping her eyes at the footage.
"Huhh~ War is soo boringgg~" Ranpo whines again, "I am already out of snacks after just half a day~ and Emily is not here to buy me delicious snacks either~" He makes a sad face shaking his empty packets of chips.
Yosano looks at him as well as Kenji who was sitting on top of the desk with a plant on his hand glances at Ranpo whining for his finished snacks that he saved for emergency.
"I know!!" Ranpo suddenly cheers up, typing on his laptop, "Hey, Yosano~ let's play Hanafuda cards online~"
"Okay!! What are we going to bet?!" Yosano gets sparkle in her eyes.
Ranpo just looks at his laptop screen but, out of nowhere his expression changes into a serious one.
"What's the matter?" Yosano asked seeing Ranpo's sudden change.
"Games later, I think we should go back to being defensive teams." Ranpo said putting on his brown hat.
Fukuzawa let out a sigh standing up, "An attack?"
"And your estimation? How many of them are attacking?" President asks.
Ranpo turns the laptop to show the footage to the President, "One."
The orange haired guy wearing a hat, in the footage smirks looking at the CCTV camera; and then the same camera stops receiving signals.
.....
After a few more minutes...
"Cameras 3, 4 and 8 have stopped transmitting!!" Yosano informed typing on her laptop.
"Activate the automatic turrets!" President ordered and Ranpo starts working on another computers as well to activate automatic weapons they laid as traps.
Red lazer beams targets the orange hair guy who halted his steps and smiled widely.
A red aura came out from the guy who destroyed the turrets at once.
"You must be more short staff than I thought to let this machines handle someone like me. Give me a real challenge!" The guy spoke facing at the camera.
"President.. what should we do?" Ranpo cautiously asked.
Fukuzawa thought for a moment as he looks at Ranpo, "I believe we are on the same opinion?"
Ranpo nodded to the President with a serious look.
.......
Since the other members were not there, they sent Yosano and Kenji to face the orange haired guy.
