"My salvation." I repeated again, unable to believe it. "Do you think I'm an idiot?" I asked as I stood up.

-Respect.-said Martin suddenly, who was about to pounce on me, but stopped immediately when he saw the hand of that Arcadia raised to keep her from getting closer.

"It doesn't matter," he said coldly.

"Is that the help?" I asked ironically.

-Martín leave us alone.-he completely ignored my comment.

-But_.-was cut off by another signal from her.-As I ordered.

"I'm sorry for your behavior," he said when he had already left.

"Yours too?" I asked, taking her by surprise. "So far this month, I've been kidnapped three times and it's not pretty at all.

"It was the only way for you to come," he tried to explain.

-I don't think so.-I counteracted his posture.-There are a thousand ways to do it and that's not one of the correct ones.

"What would you have done then?" he asked, approaching.

-I don't know, I don't even know why.-I took a step back.-But I wouldn't have kidnapped the person.

"You see, Maia," she began to say as she walked around. "The other day I heard that two of the most powerful families of vampires had undergone a change." Her hands ended up in my hair, I pulled away immediately, facing her. -I'm wrong?

"I don't know." I took a step towards her, taking her by surprise. "Why don't you ask them?"

-That's a yes.-He ignored my comment again.-I don't like being lied to.

-I don't like being kidnapped.

-Touche.-he raised his hand.-I know you're his new partner.

"Can you tell me what the hell I'm doing here right now?" I asked tired of the situation as I leaned on the huge stone where I was before.

"I have my reasons to believe that you are like my ancestors." He placed both of his hands behind his back, revealing a small dagger tied to his belt.

-Like your ancestors.-I repeated again.-Look, I'm very sorry but I don't think so.

-Your features, your nationality and your blood type give you away.-she said very confidently.-Italian, AB negative and I bet a million dollars that you have a red mark on the right heel of your foot.

"How?" I asked stunned.

"Because I have it too." She tried to get closer, I stopped her right away.

"Are you telling me we're family?" I asked even more confused.

"No, I'm telling you that you have the same characteristics." He flatly shook his head.

-For three simple things that anyone can have?

"It's not that simple," she answered angrily.

-Well, it seems so. I'm very sorry, but I'm not the person you're looking for.- I started walking towards the exit door.

"You can't go." As soon as he said it, his hand took my arm, preventing me from walking.

"Let me go." I ordered, challenging him with my eyes.

"Everything alright, my lady?" Martin's voice forced me to roll my eyes.

"Everything's fine," he replied confidently.

"No, of course not." I muttered, taking a step back when I noticed Martin's murderous look, Arcadia's body hit my back.

-Martín.-he whispered coldly. The freezing voice managed to change the look of the named.
