February 11th 1868
Emily and Elijah had been officially dating for two months and Elijah still hadn't told his siblings anything, he knew Niklaus wasn't fond of witches, but Emily was powerful, she could be of use to their family with all these power she held, especially since she had learned knew spells from Elijah's mother's spellbooks.
He had finally decided it was time to tell his brother so he waited until he and Marcellus were back from their walk and walked up to him. "Niklaus, may we have a word?" He asked. His brother nodded and they walked in their office. "What is it you wish to talk about, brother?" Niklaus asked. "I've been seeing a girl for the past few months and I was thinking it was time you all met her." Elijah replied. "Great! Bring her over for dinner tomorrow then." Niklaus smiled.
"There is one more thing." Elijah muttered. "And what would that be?" Niklaus turned to look at his brother. "She is a witch." Elijah confessed, avoiding his brother's gaze. "A witch?" Niklaus' expression changed. "Brother, before you start, I can assure you, she is very powerful, we could use her as an ally."
"You know very well I do not like witches, brother." Niklaus glared at him. "Yes but she is not a New Orleans witch, she is from Mystic Falls, our old hometown." Elijah started defending her. "Yet, she remains a witch." Niklaus pointed out. "Yes, but a good one, she will not betray our family, Niklaus, I trust her." Elijah said. "And why should I trust her?" Niklaus asked. "Don't trust her, trust me, please." Elijah begged.
"Very well then, bring her over for dinner tomorrow, we'll see how good of a witch she is then." And with that Niklaus walked out. Elijah sighed and vamped over to Emily's house, he knocked on the door and she opened it within seconds.
"Hello darling." He smiled. "Elijah." She smiled back, hugging him and bringing him inside. He gave her a few kisses before telling her the news. She seemed excited. "That's great!" She smiled. "It indeed is, but Emily, you need to listen to me, my siblings are no joke, a bad impression could cost you your life. Rebekah won't do anything without permission so we're safe when it comes to her, but my brothers, they tend to be...out of control. Kol has a strong bloodlust and gets out of control easily and then there's Niklaus, he's...what you would call short-tempered and he does happen to despise witches so you must make a good impression. Try to avoid talking about your powers as much as you can, do not mention siphoning at all and most certainly do not challenge him." He warned her. She nodded and he gave her a kiss on the forehead.
He couldn't bear to lose her, meaning he would do anything in his power to get his siblings to like her, he couldn't let her die, especially since it would be his fault for getting her mixed up in this.

Emily sighs and flips the pages of her spellbook trying to find a spell that could break Bonnie's. She has been struggling with this spell for two days. Stefan also has gotten trapped and Bonnie refuses to let Katherine out so Damon and Emily are working together to let them out. Emily sighs. "I'll continue looking, go get them some blood." Damon says and she nods and summons two blood bags before vamping outside of the tomb.
"Guess who brought food." She yells as they both vamp towards the entrance. She throws one bloodbag to Katherine and the other to Stefan. "I thought Damon was on blood duty." Stefan says while drinking a bit.
"So, have you made any progress?" Katherine asks. "No, we're trying to find which spell Bonnie used, then finding the spell to reverse it will be a piece of cake." Emily explains. She hears footsteps approaching and turns around. "You hear that too, right?" She whispes. Katherine nods. Emily raises her hand towards the end of the staircase, waiting for whoever is coming.
