It has been two days since Emily got locked up in the basement. The vervain hasn't stopped burning her skin which makes her move her wrists around a lot so the ropes have became tighter. 

Damon and Stefan didn't show up at all the previous day so Emily hasn't drank blood in two days. Damon walks in holding a blood bag, Bonnie is behind him holding a spellbook. "We need your help." He says. "Give me one good reason why I should help you." Emily glares at him. "We'll let you out, you can visit Katherine, give her blood." Damon mutters. "What do you need?" Emily asks if she gets out she can find the spell to let Katherine out. "Do you know anything about Elijah Mikealson?" He asks. Emily looks up at him. 

Elijah Mikealson, that name brings Emily back so many memories. One of the only people she considered not saving Katherine from. Sometimes she even regrets saving her. She felt happy with him, safe, they were in love, until Katherine showed up. 

"Plenty of things." Emily replies, feeling all the emotions come back to her. "Bonnie." He looks over at the witch. "Merabas Hic Libatal, Confremun Signas, Omus Quisa Tentum Exalis. Merabas Hic Libatal, Confremun Signas, Omus Quisa Tentum Exalis. Merabas Hic Libatal, Confremun Signas, Omus Quisa Tentum Exalis. Merabas Hic Libatal, Confremun Signas, Omus Quisa Tentum Exalis." She mutters as the cycle breaks.

Damon walks in and cuts the rope, getting burned in the process. Emily stands up from the chair shaking her wrists in pain. She groans in pain and shakes the remains of the vervain off. Damon throws her the blood bag he was holding, she empties the blood in it and sends the plastic in the trash with a spell. 

"What do you want to know?" She asks. "Come upstairs." Damon says. She follows him upstairs. Elena and Stefan are sitting on the couch waiting for them. "She knows about Elijah?" Stefan asks. "That's what she claims." Damon mutters. "How do you know about him?" Stefan asks. "We used to date, I'm kind of an Original-expert." Emily replies. 

"What does he want with me?" Elena asks. "You're a Petrova doppelganger, you're the key to breaking the curse." The red-haired explains. "The sun and the moon curse?" Stefan asks. "No that's just a cover-up story, there is no sun and the moon curse." Emily replies. "A cover-up story for what?" Stefan asks. "A cover story for the real curse, Klaus' curse." 

"Who's Klaus?" Elena asks. "An original, he's a legend." Damon replies. "Would you let me speak? Thank you." Emily rolls her eyes. "People believe Klaus to be the deadliest out of the originals, those people clearly haven't seen Elijah defend his loved ones. There are five Originals, Finn, Elijah, Niklaus-also known as Klaus-,Kol and Rebekah. 

-Once upon a time, a thousand years ago the Mikealson family lived happily in Mystic Falls, there were six siblings, the ones I've already mentioned plus the youngest son, Henrik. Esther, the mother, had an affair with a werewolf and got pregnant with Niklaus, of course she never told her husband he wasn't his. A few years later Henrik and Niklaus decided to see the werewolves turn in the full moon, one of them killed Henrik. The parents were devastated, considering they had lost another daughter a few years back, so Esther did a spell to turn her children into something immortal, something powerful that could never be killed; vampires. When Niklaus made his first kill, he activated his werewolf side, so on the next full moon he turned, revealing he wasn't Mikeal's son. Mikeal had Esther curse Niklaus, detaining his werewolf side and preventing him from being what he truly should be, then as Niklaus claims, Mikeal killed Esther and took off. The spell was performed with doppelganger blood, meaning the only way to break it was by finding another doppelganger, the moonstone and sacrifice a werewolf and a vampire. So he and Elijah made up the sun and the moon curse as an attempt to have every vampire and werewolf look for the doppelganger and the moonstone, this way he would know if a doppelganger was alive."
