March 22nd 1868

Emily knocked on the door of the Mikealson mansion, hoping it would be Elijah to answer and not anyone else, it wasn't, it was Niklaus.

"Hello love." He smirked. "Is Elijah here?" She asked. "No, but he will return shortly. You can wait for him inside." Niklaus replied. She nodded and walked inside the house. "Well, well, well. Emily love, what brings you here today?" Kol smirked while he walked downstairs. "She wants to talk to Elijah." Niklaus replied. "What about?" He asked. "No idea." Niklaus shrugged. "Love? Care to share?" Kol turned to her. "No." Emily replied. "Oh come on. I'm curious." Kol vamped to her and grabbed her arm. "Come on love, please?"

Emily accidentally siphoned him. "Ahhh." Kol groaned. "What was that?" He asked as she let go of him. "It's called siphoning, it allows me to absorb the power of magical objects or supernatural creatures." Emily explained. "I've never met a witch who is able to do that. Is it some spell or something?" Niklaus asked. "No, she was born like this, she's a kind of witch we simply haven't met before; a siphon witch." Elijah walked in.

"Why are we hearing about this now?" Niklaus turned to him. "Because my girlfriend's power is none of your concern." Elijah replied and walked over to her. That's when she noticed he was covered in blood. "Should I even ask?" She smirked. Elijah shook his head. "Give me a few minutes, I'll go change. Niklaus, Kol, behave yourselves." He said and walked upstairs.

"Well, I guess that makes you special, even one more reason to have you as our ally." Niklaus smirked. "Excuse me I have to go talk to my sister." He said and vamped upstairs. He wasn't going to actually meet with Rebekah, he just wanted to speak to Elijah once he was done.

Soon Elijah left his room only to find his brother standing in front of him. "I want to talk, now." Niklaus announced. "Make it quick. I do not like to leave Emily alone with Kol knowing what he is capable of." Elijah said. "Emily is clearly powerful and now with this new ability we've learnt she has, I want her protected, at all costs, meaning I want you to ask her to move in." Niklaus demanded. "Brother, we have only been together for three months, I doubt it would be appropriate." Elijah argued. "I do not care, brother, I want her protected, the only way she will be kept safe is if we are with her all the time." Niklaus demanded again.

"Very well then, you want her to stay here. Consider it arranged." He said and then walked downstairs. Emily was talking with Kol. "Hello." He smiled at her. "Hi." Emily smiled back and he hugged her. "I want to talk to you." She said and he nodded. "Come on, let's go for a walk then." He smiled and led her outside.

"What is it you wanted to talk about?" Elijah asked. "I think I found where my brothers are." Emily answered. "That's great! Do you want to see them?" He smiled. "I don't know, I really don't want them to get mixed up with your siblings." Emily sighed. "That can be arranged. I'll have you meet them without Niklaus and the rest of my siblings knowing. If you want me to I can compel them to forget about everything afterwards." Elijah said. Emily nodded. "So where are they?" He asked. "In Chicago." Emily replied. "I'll have them found, you'll be seeing them in a few days." Elijah assured her and she nodded. "Thank you."

"Emily, I wanted to ask you something as well." Elijah stopped walking. "Go on." She nodded. "I was wondering if you wanted to move in with us." Elijah looked over at her. "I don't know, don't you think we're moving too fast?" She questioned. "Emily, you need protection, you're a siphon witch, I haven't met any, ever, people find out they might want to kidnap you, it's the safest way." He said. She sighed. "You're right, but what about Niklaus, he has made it clear he doesn't like witches." Emily said. "He wants you as an ally." Elijah assured her. "Fine then."

"Let's head inside then, shall we?" Elijah smiled. She nodded and he gave her a kiss on the forehead before they headed back in the house. "Where is Rebekah?" Elijah asked. "She should be back anytime soon." Niklaus replied. "Good, because I wanted to make an announcement." Elijah smiled at Emily.
