The Last Day/The sun also rises

Elijah takes out a small, old-looking bottle. "I had procured it for Katerine in 1492 but she managed to ascape before I could give it to her." He explains. Stefan, Emily, Elena and Damon look at him. "I don't get it, what does this really old bottle have to do with keeping Elena alive?" Stefan asks.

"It's an elixir a witch made back then. It will theoretically bring her back to life after her death at the ritual." He explains. "So you want us to believe that this thing will magically bring her back to life? I really doubt it." Damon says. "How about the Gilbert ring?" He suggests. "She's a doppelganger, which means she is a supernatural creature, it won't work on her." Emily says. "There is no other way."

"Does Klaus have a werewolf for the curse?" Elena asks. "He will by tonight if he already doesn't." Elijah replies. 

"Are you sure you know what you are risking?" He asks. Elena nods. "Klaus is here because of me, I have to at least try to stop him." 

"Well then it is done, the sacrifice will happen tonight."  Emily says. "No." Damon disagrees. "I refuse to lose you." He says. "You won't Damon, the elixir will work." Emily assures him. Damon shakes his head.

He vamps towards Elena and feeds her his blood. She coughs trying to get it off her system. Stefan vamps over to them and pushes Damon away. "You of all people should know what it's like to have your choice being taken away from you." He yells. Damon pushes him back. "I refuse to watch her die, even if it means that she'll hate me for turning her." He yells back. "Stop it, both of you." Emily freezes them both with a spell.  

She turns to Elijah. "Why don't you two go upstairs, I need to talk to my brothers alone." She says. Elena and Elijah nod and walk away. She puts a barrier spell on the room before unfreezing them. "What was that for?" She turns to Damon. "The elixir won't work, I know it won't. I had to take matters into my own hands." He says. Stefan glares at him before turning to his sister.

"Release us, I want to spend the day with my girlfriend before she turns." He says. Emily nods and takes the barrier spell off. Stefan vamps off. 

"Neither of them will ever forgive me, will they?" Damon asks. "They will, time is nothing when you're a vampire, in a decade at most they will have forgiven you." She replies. He nods. "I need to fix this." He says before vamping off.

Emily gets a call from Niklaus, she answers. "Is there something you need me to do?" She asks. "Yes, Tyler Lockwood and Caroline Forbes are currently at the hospital, I would like you to put them to sleep and take them to the tomb, then meet me at Alaric's appartment." He says. "Okay." Emily says and hangs up.

She vamps to her car and gets in, driving to the town hospital. Tyler and Caroline are outside, talking. She puts a sleeping spell on them. considering Tyler is a werewolf so she can't snap his neck. She walks over to them as they both colapse on the floor and picks Caroline up, dumping her in the now opened trunk before doing the same with Tyler and closing the trunk.

She takes them to the tomb and then returns to her car, driving to Niklaus'-Alaric's-appartment. She walks in and watches Katherine burning. She immediately does a spell to throw her onto one of the counters so sunlight doesn't hit her. "You can put your daylight ring back on, Katerina." Niklaus says. Katherine obbeys. "Leave us, will you?" He orders her. She gives Emily an apologetic look before going into the bedroom.

"May I assume that the job is finished?" He asks. She nods. "Brilliant." He smirks. "Is there anything else I should know?" He raises a brow. She shakes her head. She vamps over to her. "Is there anything I should know?" He repeats, compelling her. "No." Emily lies. Only a fool would meet Niklaus Mikealson without drinking a ton of vervain firstly.
