She was beautiful. If I told her that she would think I'm cheesy as fuck, but I went against my will and said it anyways. In return I got a peck on my lips and then we both continued to stare at then now dark sky. My arms were wrapped around her waist and we just stood in the cool water till we got bored of staring.
"Let's get changed. Maybe we can pick up some food and head over to my place. Ok?"
After getting a nod I let go and walked up to the shore, wrapping a towel around my body. Gillis followed. We walked hand in hand to the bridge pulling on the dry clothes over our wet undergarments. Gillis looked exhausted which explains the lack of words from her. Once again I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist and pulled her close. She buried her head in the crook of my neck and sighed.
"I love you so much. You can't leave me now. If you do I will spam you with nudes," I was dead serious too.
"Are you trying to make me break up with you."

We finally made it back to the house and Gillis was practically a zombie. She wasn't even walking straight anymore, actually she wasn't even standing. I had to support her the whole walk from the Chinese place. I set us both down on the front porch.
"Wanna eat or are you too tired for that."
Instantly she perked up and nodded. I liked her better when she didn't talk much. Ya I'm a bitch, I get it, I've heard it. Acceptance is a good policy. That makes me an acceptable human,.......I think.
We unpacked the food and ate it quietly. I finished before Gillis so I laid down looking at the star filled sky. Being the most awkward person ever I started to sing ಥ‿ಥ(accidently hit the paste button and this comes up. I'm gonna leave it now).

After that there was a moment of silence and a bit of staring before she joined in.
