Dear diary
Something weird happened yesterday when Colory and Sloflo fainted and went back into there PokeBalls they shattered and they weren't there anymore.  I'm scared because what if the same happens for the rest of them? I'm just going to have to try and not lose anymore. For now I will make some fruit curry for my Pokemon.

Victor put down his diary to make the curry but his mind dwelled elsewhere. Why'd his Pokemon shatter when they went into there balls? Would the same happen to the others too?

Sir pecks: THE CURRY'S BURNING AND VICTOR'S STILL STIRRING IT. WHAT DO WE DO?!?

Cindy gave Victor a light tap.

Victor: Oh sorry I dozed off what di- OH NO THE CURRY!

Victor told Vanilla to use water pulse to put out the fire. There was still some good curry left so they ate that.

Vanilla: Where floating flower and fast pink.

Cindy: Yeah where are they.

Victor: I don't know all I know is that I can't use them anymore. For now we're going back to the isle of armor.

Harry: Will we see them again?

Victor:........I don't know.

Returning back the isle, The dojo's second trial was to look for 3 Max mushrooms in the forest of focus.

Avery: Just because you got my uniform back doesn't mean you're getting those mushrooms first.

For hours they searched the woods for mushrooms but they had no luck finding them.

Victor: Sir pecks could you scout the forest for glowing mushrooms?

Sir pecks: Sir yes sir.

Sir pecks flew up high and saw no mushrooms.

Sir pecks: Sorry there aren't any mushrooms anywhere near here.

Victor: Devon could you search underground and try to find the location of any max mushrooms.

Devon: Sure thing.

Devon searched underground and found some max mushrooms but they were in a nearby cave.

Devon: I found some in a cave north of here.

Inside the cave glowed a soft red light surrounding some mushrooms.

Victor: Alright found 3 of them to boot.

Avery: Just a moment!!!

Avery came in the cave tired and covered in dirt and sweat.

Avery: I detected those mushrooms with my powers first so give them to me!

Victor: Not a chance.

Avery: You just show up and you just so talented despite your age. Well if you won't give them willingly then I will humiliate you in battle and have them.

One thrashing later.

Avery: What are you some kind of battling machine? Why are you so so I'm out. I will find my own max mushrooms and they will be better than yours.

After going back to the dojo, Victor gave his 3 max mushrooms to Honey.

Honey: Nice work Victor come back tomorrow and we'll prepare some max soup.

Victor returned to Hulbury by flying taxi.

Hop: Hey Victor the gym leader of motostoke is training in Galar mine 2 so we go see what's happening.

Victor: Why is it called galar mine number two?

Hop: Because it's number 2.

Victor: That makes zero sense but ok.

Hop zoomed ahead while Victor walked behind.

Inside the mine Victor saw a Noibat sleeping on the ceiling. Up ahead he saw that Bede person.

Victor: Hey I know you you're the rude gal with the cotton candy hair.

Bede: Firstly I'm a boy and secondly you really shouldn't be here right now.

Victor: What are you talking about?

Bede: It was a simple fluke that you beat Nessa, You were struggling the whole time with that Drednaw of her's.

Victor: Are you just here to annoy me?

Bede: No I think I'll just defeat you and show you just how outclassed you truly are.

Bede sent out his Solosis while Victor sent out Sir pecks.

Bede's Solosis unleashed a psyshock that fainted Sir pecks. His PokeBall shattered.

Victor:😨 Oh poop

Lola came out and avenged Sir pecks.

Bede sent out his Gothita while Victor sent out Harry.

Harry made a Light screen to defend himself from gothita's attacks while he used struggle bug to attack.

Gothita fainted

Bede sent out a Galarian Ponyta while Victor sent out Cindy who grabbed the Light screen and used it to bounce back a fairy wind attack back at the Ponyta.

Ponyta fainted.

Bede: Excellent no one can corner my team like this. However, I think it's time I turn the tables and win this.

Bede sent out Hattena while Victor sent out Devon.

Hattena was about to use psybeam but a sucker punch from Devon defeated the Hattena.

Bede: Well you're not weak...

Victor: Finally you acknowledge my ski-

Bede: You just lack talent. Your chances of winning the gym challenge are very low.

Victor:(Screw you too jerk)

After Bede left, Victor realized something. Sir Pecks had shattered within his Pokeball. Sir Pecks was gone too now.

???: Hey

Victor: Who's there?

Nathan: My names Nathan and as you can see I'm a Noibat.

Victor: That's pretty obvious.

Nathan: Your little squabble woke me up from my nap. So can I go with you?

Victor: Uhh sure thing.
