Victor returned to the isle of armor to finally get the secret armor of the dojo from Master Mustard.

Victor: I have completed the three trials. May I have the armor?

Mustard: Yes you may.

Mustard threw a PokeBall and out came a Kubfu.

Victor: So that's it then?

Mustard: You must become good friends with Kubfu in order to do the next part of the trial. Seeing as how you're doing the gym challenge Kubfu could help you out.

Victor: Doubt he'll be a good choice while fighting the fairy gym leader.

Mustard:.... Is the gym leader still Opal?

Victor: Uh Yeah why do you ask?

Mustard: A word of advice when facing her in battle. The right answer is not the obvious one.

Victor went back to the mainland while contemplating Master Mustard's words. When Victor got to the wild area he accidentally fell into a max raid den of a bronzor. Victor fought alongside other people who had clumsily fallen in here too. After a long battle Victor caught the Bronzor.

Victor: I'll name you Stelio.

Stelio: You broke into my home and beat me up. Then you decide to give me a new name without my consent.

Victor: Don't care

Victor traveled behind the Stow-on-side Stadium and into the strange forest that was the glimwood tangle.

Victor: ( I should've brought my own flashlight.)

Leafy: Finally a place with trees don't you agree Sacurina?...Sacurina!

Sacurina wandered off into the tall grass.

Leafy: Victor I lost Sacurina.

Victor: Pretty Mushrooms... Kubby look for Sacurina with Leafy.

Kubby nodded his head and he and leafy went off into the woods.

Victor: Guess this just leaves me with Vanilla, Ion and Trashinator.

Ion: Is that a Sun stone in your bag?

Victor: Yeah it was one of the extra things from when I was digging for fossils. Do you want it?

Ion shook his head yes. When handed the Sun stone Ion evolved into Heliolisk.

Meanwhile Sacurina was wondering farther into the tangle when she came across a oranguru sitting quietly.

Sacurina: What are you doing.

???: I was thinking about many things.

Sacurina: Like what?

???: About the flowers and trees.

Sacurina: They look so pretty here.

Victor: There you are Sacurina! And you a new party member.

3 minutes later.

Victor:WHY. WON'T. YOU. STAY. IN. THE. BALL!!!

Victor had been throwing great balls trying to capture the Oranguru but it just wouldn't stay in the ball.

After another minute Victor finally caught the Oranguru.

Victor: (I'll name him Sarda after that one Final fantasy character.)

Meanwhile on the other side of the tangle.

Leafy: Are they gone?

Kubby: I think so.

Leafy: Let's just go very quietly.

???: Hey look, There they are!

Leafy: RUN

Leafy and Kubby were being chased by Impidimps. Luckily Victor and the other's were nearby.

Leafy: We have to run NOW

Victor: What did you do?

Impidimps: There's the ones who broke our sign.

Victor:🤨

Kubby: We weren't looking where we were walking.

Sacurina saw a rare candy fall out of Victor's bag and ate it.

Sacurina evolved into Steenee and beat all the Impidimps and stomped on another making her become a Tsareena.

Vanilla: Cherry girl yay.

The sudden excitement made Vanilla evolve into Vanillish

Victor: Is that the last one who will be evolving?

Trashinator evolved into Garbador.

Victor: Guess this means the fairy type badge is as good as mine.

Going forward through the tangle Victor finally found the town of Ballonlea.

The town was like something out of a fairytale. Houses were in hollowed out trees. Glowing mushrooms give the city light and fairy type Pokemon were playing around. After enjoying some of the sights, Victor found the stadium.

Inside the stadium Marnie looked like she was in the fight of her life.

Victor: Opal was tough huh?

Marnie: I use mostly dark-types so she was difficult but morpeeko beat her Alcreamie.

Victor: Well good luck.

Victor entered the theater for the gym test.

Opal: Welcome gym challenger. My gym test is to battle the gym trainers while also answering quiz answers. Get one right and your Pokemon grow stronger, But get them wrong and your Pokemon get weaker.

Victor: Sounds interesting but why the quizzes?

Opal: I figured it's time that I retired and pass on the title of gym leader to another younger person.

Victor wasn't able to all the answers correct but he was allowed to still pass the gym test. Out on the field Opal was taking a light nap standing up.

Opal: Well I've seen how you handled those quiz answers so let's see what you can do.

A/N Play the music

Opal sent out Galarian Wheezing while Victor sent out Trashinator.

Trashinator sent out toxic spikes while enduring the strange steam. Trashinator retaliated by shooting sludge bombs at the Galarian wheezing until it finally fainted.

Opal sent out Mawile while Victor sent out Ion.

Ion used parabolic charge which defeated the Mawile.

Opal sent out Togekiss while Victor sent out Vanilla.

Vanilla used Icicle spears to attack but they barely did anything.

Opal's Togekiss: Tee hee that tickles.

Togekiss used ancient power but Vanilla survived. Victor switched him out for Trashinator. Togekiss used ancient power that fainted Trashinator.

Victor:( So long old friend😢)

Victor sent out Ion to Parabolic charge the Togekiss.

Togekiss fainted.

Opal gigantimaxes her Alcreamie while Victor Dynamaxes Leafy.

The Alcreamie was poisoned by the toxic spikes set up by Trashinator. Leafy used max Overgrowth. Grassy terrain spawns on the battlefield.

Opal: You lack pink, Here let me give
you some.

Alcreamie used G-max Finale. Leafy used max Overgrowth. Alcreamie used G-max Finale. Leafy fainted.

Victor:😭

Victor (Reluctantly) sent out Ion.
Ion used Volt switch. The Alcreamie fainted.

Opal: Well you're not what I'm looking for in terms of the next gym leader but you can still have this fairy badge.
