october 1978 🎃💀🕷

a few weeks went by and it was finally the week of halloween. my favorite holiday.

school has been quiet. no one talks about the fight or my satanic dreams anymore. i have to thank robin for that. he threatened half the school.

vance and i became distant again. he just doesn't talk to me anymore. we only talk in class, that's all.

i don't know what his problem is but if he wants to act like he doesn't know me then i'll do the same back to him.

my old friends have been apologizing to me nonstop and i don't accept them. i mean, i fucking got punched and shit and they expect me to just forgive them?

they're crazy to think i would ever want to be friends with them again.

danny and i have become.....closer?

he offered to come with me when i take gwen and finney trick or treating along with robin and some of gwens friends.

i said sure.

present day- october 31st, 1978 (halloween day) 🎃

i sat in english class, along with danny, watching some charlie brown movie our teacher put on.

today was a half day. the school was nice enough to give us a half day because it's halloween.

the whole class wasn't even paying attention to the movie and either was i. danny and i were discussing the halloween costume we would be wearing tonight.

don't think this is cringe but we're gonna dress up as elvis and priscilla presley.

i got danny to agree. we're gonna wear their wedding outfits. i bought the costumes last week for like $20 at some store near the grab n' go.

english ended and it was now lunch. we met up with finney, robin and gwen and continued discussing for tonight.

robin was just gonna dress as a fighter cuz he is one.

finney is going to be an astronaut. (adorable)

and gwen, well, im not too sure what she's dressing up as. she said it was a surprise so, yeah.

with all the missing kids, trick or treating wasn't the best idea but i knew how much fun gwen and finney have so i somehow got dad to allow us to go.

i told him i'd buy him beer for a week.

of course that asshole said yes after that.

it was now 4:30. school ended a few hours ago and we were in the kitchen, carving pumpkins. robin was over too.

"you know guys, you need to be careful tonight." i said, as i washed my hands, "the grabber could be out there."

"don't say that." finney nudged me in the side.

"ow!"

"don't worry. we'll be fine. we have danny and robin to protect us." gwen smiled.

"true."
