i got to math a little late since i went to the bathroom to clean my lip. it wouldn't stop bleeding which was annoying. steven waited outside for me.

when i walked in, everyone looked at me. i froze and just stared at everyone. mr. christensen walked up to me with a smile, "hello allison. it is so good to have you back."

i nodded and smiled a little, "thank you."

"while you were gone, we um changed the seats around so you're next to....." he grabbed his list and read through it, "oh, you're still next to vance."

i nodded and walked to my seat. great, the person who i've been dreading to see. luckily though, vance wasn't even in class yet.

"as you all know, today is our unit 6 test." mr. christensen announced. the whole class groaned.

"oh shush." he began handing out the tests while i sat there and stared at the clock.

once he was finished, mr. christensen pulled over a chair and sat in front of me, "all the work you need to make up." he shook his head, "you don't need to do it. i know these past weeks have been hard on you, allison. so don't worry. you will be all caught up by next monday, alright?"

"okay thanks."

"incase you need anything, just tell me and i'll send you to the consular or the nurse, okay?"

i nodded.

he smiled and stood back up then walked back over to his desk. i sighed and laid my head down.

this is going to be a long period.

math ended well i kinda spent the whole period in the nurses office, sleeping. the lady woke me up, "how are you feeling allison?"

"fine." was all i said as i got up and left.

second period. shit, what did i have second?

the bell rang again. i just decided to go to the office and ask for my schedule since i forgot it. i walked in and the lady at the main desk smiled at me, "oh hello allison, how are you doing?"

"good. can i have a copy of my schedule? i forgot it."

the lady nodded, "of course but allison, you weren't supposed to come back to school today. you were supposed to start next monday."

i let out a quiet "oh."

"don't worry. it's alright. let me just get your schedule." she stood up and walked into another room while i just sat down in a random chair.

a few minutes later, she walked out with a piece of paper and handed it to me, "if you need anything, please go to ms. ricci. she's here to help."

"i know and thank you."

i left the office and headed to second period which was science. oh yeah, i have science. duh.

i got to the classroom and walked in and again everyone looked at me. mr. donahoe looked at me with a smile, "hey allison, nice for you to join us."

i nodded and smiled, walking to my seat which was right next to vance and sarah.

fuck.

i just rolled my eyes and sat down.

"get into groups of four, please." mr. donahoe said to all of us. huh, what for?

"hi allison." finney said, taking a seat next to me, donna was with him as well.

"since when were you in this class finney?" i asked him, confused.

"since the first day of school?" he said with a laugh.

"oh well okay." donna got up and gathered all the supplies while i watched vance and sarah.

she was all over him and it was driving me insane.

"when did they start dating?" finney asked, once donna got back.

"no idea."

the rest of the day went by really fast. i was glad, i couldn't wait to go home. i walked to my locker and grabbed all my things. then i walked outside to meet with finney and gwen but instead i found vance.

"fuck." i sighed, about to walk back into the school but before i could, i heard my name being called.

"hey, i didn't know you were back in school." vance said once he reached my side.

"yeah, i guess you were to busy letting your girlfriend suck your dick to realize i was back." i snapped, trying to push past him but he stopped me.

"what are you talking about?"

i let out a scoff and crossed my arms, "just stop. don't make it sound like i'm the stupid one here, vance. you," i pointed at his chest, "have a girlfriend who happens to be my ex best friend. the fucking girl who beat the shit out of me back in september!"

"shhh stop yelling. let's talk about this somewhere else." he grabbed my arm and began dragging me.

"fucking let go of me. stop it!" i pulled away.

"don't fucking touch me." people began staring and i could tell vance was getting annoyed with me and everyone else, "stop being such a bitch and let's talk about this!"

"no! im done with you! im done being your friend! im done being there for you when you fuck up! i've had it!" i screamed at him, "im done, vance. we are no longer friends. don't call me. don't even look at me. and don't talk to me."

i stormed off, heading straight home. i cried the whole way to my house. how could he? he fucking told me he loved me and it sounded like he liked me and then i come back and find out he's in a relationship with someone, what the fuck is that?

i got to my house and went right to my room, slamming the door shut. i laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. how could you vance?
