thirty-two

it was finally the christmas break. thank the heavens. the final bell of the year rang and everyone ran out of the class.

holy shit, they literally won't stop pushing me.

i get to my locker after being shoved around and open it, a small letter falls out and onto the ground.

i looked at it confused as i picked it up and looked around. i shrugged and opened the letter up.

can we please talk? i said im sorry so many times.
meet me at the corner store tonight.

i rolled my eyes and shoved the letter into my pocket then i grabbed all my things and left the school. vance and i haven't talked in weeks.

he and sarah were still together although there has been like 5 fights between them. they usually happened in lunch and everyone in the lunch room would watch.

i would just sit there and ignore it, although i feel like vance wanted me to watch. steven always said he would look at me with sadness as the principal led him out of the room.

i don't know.

it's the assholes fault that we stopped talking, not mine.

i meet up with gwenny and finney and we begin our walk home.

"it sure is cold out." i said as i wrapped my arms around myself, "sure is." gwen agreed.

"can we go skating tomorrow?" finney asked out of nowhere.

gwen and i stopped walking and looked at him.

"what?" he said, innocently.

"finney, you never want to go ice skating, why do you want to go now?" i asked.

finney shrugged and we continued walking, "i want to meet someone there."

gwen and i glanced at each other and immediately knew who he was talking about. "you wanna see donna!" we screamed, smiling at finney whos cheeks were heating up.

"shut up and don't scream it that loud. people could be listening." finney said as he looked around.

literally no one was around.

only us.

"we can go." i said as we reached the house. finney smiled as i pulled out my keys and unlocked the door. "you should invite vance allie." gwen smirked.

"hell no."

"you should." she giggled and began screaming as i chased her around the house.

it was later now and dad had called, saying he was going to work late but he did say we could order pizza.

the three of us waited for the pizza, watching rudolph the red nose reindeer on the tv. finally, the door bell rang and i jumped up and answered the door.

"oh, hi steven." i said with a smile as he handed me the pizza.

"hey allie." he smiled.

"you deliver pizzas now?" i asked with a laugh.

"well yeah. i kind of took dannys job..." he said with a frown.

"oh."

i completely forgot about danny.

i miss him sm.
