the christmas break ended which made me sad. the weeks after that flew by and it was already march.

i sit in algebra, zoning out. mr. christiansen was teaching some lesson that was really boring me. math was never my thing and he knew that.

vance has been skipping school a lot.

i didn't really care.

though, he was always on my mind.

i don't understand what happened to the vance that was trapped in the grabbers basement with me. the vance that cared and wanted me to live.

not this vance who fucking beats my friend up and dates my ex best friend.

amazing news actually, sarah and vance broke up.

pretty much the whole school watched the break up happen. it was back in february. the two were arguing in gym.

sarah wanted to skip and go, yk, do something but vance wanted to stay and i later learned he wanted to stay because he wanted to play the fucking game with me. (🤭)

she screamed at him and he was screaming back and then he just left the gym.

i was just so shocked that happened in front of my very eyes and others.

he seems more lonely now. hasn't gotten into many fights. only a few here and there. mostly with matt, sarah's ex boyfriend who's her boyfriend again.

steven and i have been doing alright, though i feel like he is hiding something from me. and i don't know what.

my thoughts were broken when the bell rang. everyone in the class got up and left immediately while mr. christiansen was yelling, "HOMEWORK PAGE 398 IS DUE TOMORROW!"

i packed up my things and walked up to the front. the man was so stressed. he sat back down, rubbing his head, "is everything alright?" i asked him.

he jumped and looked up at me.

i-how did he not realize i was right in front of him?

"yes, i'm fine, thank you allison."

i nodded and smiled before leaving.

my next class was science with finney, donna and vance. finney waved to me and i sat down with him and donna.

mr. donahoe walked in, papers in his hands and he stood in the front, smiling at all of us, "cheerleading tryouts is this afternoon."

OMG.

AH.

YAY.

I HAVENT CHEERED SINCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

im definitely trying out.

"if you're interested, grab a paper from the front."

pretty much all the girls stood up and grabbed one, even donna. i read over the paper, jesus a lot of rules.

most importantly show your school spirit by wearing your uniform every friday!

i rolled my eyes and shoved the paper into my bag.
