I turned into the parking lot of parc de princes and turned off my car.
I took a quick deep breath before grabbing my phone and texting Estelle to ask if she was all good with Nico
She texted me back immediately letting me know she was good and they just got to the cafe.
I smiled because I love that she's happy.
I get out of my car and lock it and walk into the building.
I go into the lounge and wait for a familiar face and much to my luck I get one
"Carmen?" Ney says walking into the room
"That is my name" I say looking up from my phone
"What are you doing here? Did you get in trouble? Are you hurt?" He questions me going to into full dad mode
"Calmate ney, I'm perfectly fine" I say grabbing his shoulder
"Then why aren't you in school"
"You know how my school is I don't always have to be there" I say
"Ok well everybody is in the gym stretching before practice so let's go there" he says putting his arm around me and walking towards the gym
He opens the door and I see everyone just sitting on workout mats
"Carmen" I hear Marquinhos say
"Marqi!!" I say turning to face him
He gives me a hug and then lets me go so I can go speak with my dad
" hola papa" I say approaching him
" hey niña we are just about to go out so you can go to the stands now if you want." He says
"Alright see you out there" I say before exiting
"Carmennnn!" I hear Marquinhos trailing behind me
"So me and Carol wanted to go out with your parents and Neymar and bruna tomorrow night but we need someone to watch our impossible three?"
"That sounds very challenging" I say
"But I live for challenges so sign me up" I add
"Your the greatest we will drop them off to you tomorrow night before your parents leave."
"That's actually perfect because Thiago and Mateo are with my abuela right now so it will just be ciro and your kids."
"Alright car see you later hope you have fun today."
I nod and wave goodbye as he jogs back to the training room
"I'm walking towards the stands when I hear a ding in my pocket
A text from pedri appears

"So I was speaking to Gavi earlier and I think he might have a thing for you." He says
I respond quickly
"I thought he had a girlfriend or whatever."
"Well I think he is done with her, but I just wanted to restate what everyone says be careful with Gavi. He's my best friend and I know him.he makes promises he can't always keep and I don't want you or him to get hurt again" he texts me
" I don't know if I like him. But I will be careful if not trying to go through that feeling again." I text him
"Good well just keep in touch with him and see where it goes but don't rush things give yourself time love you caramel" he texts me and I put my phone away and finish my walk
As soon as I get there I take my phone right back out and post an insta story

I see my dad come out of a tunnel because they are doing a scrimmage today otherwise I'd be at the practice fields.

After the training was over I went to tell my dad I would just meet him at home because I drove
"Be careful niña it's raining so it's dangerous" he says
"Okay okay I will see you papa"
I go to my car and get in when my phone begins to ring
I pull my phone out and see Pedri's name
I hit the green button to accept the call
"Carmennnnnn" a voice says
"Pedri?"
"Quiet the opposite. It's Gavi"
"Oh hello"
"So why are you avoiding my texts and sending me thumbs up emojis" he asks
I don't want to snitch on pedri so i go with the first thing that comes to mind
"Sorry there's just been something going on here that I'm caught up with" I say
It's not exactly a lie so I think it will be good
"Well how about this, later tonight we can talk. I would say now but because when pedri figures out I took his phone he will kick my ass"
" that sounds good" I say through a laugh
" talk to you later Carmen"
He hangs up
I smile lightly and pull out of the parking lot and go home.
